Cold Rain and Snow

Most days, I complain about living in Florida.  Most. However, in the winter, it’s my time to shine, and I say this because I now remember what I don’t like about northern winters.  Surprisingly it’s not the snow, or even the bitter cold, in fact, I quite enjoy those!  It’s the constant gloomy, overcast skies, that seem to hover over the the Northeast U.S. for what seems to be 6 months straight.  That’s what I was reminded of when I went out to do some shopping around SL today, after stopping into Ethereal City.  Don’t let that stop you though, it’s an absolutely gorgeous SIM to visit.  Thankfully, I had this bright purple crocodile bag to color my world and now you can have it too.

Vive Nine (which used to be called ryvolter) has a great box of free gifts on their front desk.  The box is labeled ‘Vintage Gifts’ and they are vintage because they’re sized for some older bodies – not because they’re old or outdated. (Some of the gifts are sized for legacy in addition)  They are still very awesome, and with the magic use of alphas, I’m sure you could make many of them work on newer, updated bodies.  The box is packed full of gifts, but the one I’m showing you today is this sweater and skirt, a one piece outfit, with huds to mix and match the sweater and skirt colors.  This outfit is sized for:

I paired it with this gorgeous purple crocodile bag which is a separate, more recent free gift (which is on the wall behind the desk).  It also comes in a yellow ‘money’ version.  It has a ton of different holds for both hands, and also a HUD to change the scarf handle, and turn on and off all the money falling out the top.  I didn’t show you the money, because it’s now a few days after Black Friday and I don’t have any left!
