I’ve covered Manhood a few times this month, so I’m sorry if it’s repetitive for daily readers.  There are so many high quality gifts for men during their 1st Anniversary round, I needed to cover it a lot, so no one misses it!  I piled on a ton of the gifts for this last call post, let’s talk about what I brought home for free.

Virtual Insanity

Hey hey Fabs!

Did you ever want to recreate a photo or video in Secondlife?  I decided I wanted to do my best to recreate the 1996 video of “Virtual Insanity” by Jamiroquai, and I was completely inspired to do so because of these incredible free gifts!

Funky

This is still one of my favorite songs to date.  It’s funky and jazzy, clean and simple, and the video had some great cinematography for it’s time.  In fact, it won the 1997 award for best video.  I was trying on all of these free gifts from Manhood and all of a sudden, I realized I looked  nearly like Jamiroquai in his video, so that’s the post.  (I do have the video linked in my FLICKR, you can click on the blog picture and it will take you right there.)

Well, well, well …… what happened last night?  Was I running my mouth after too many beers?  Did I make Beachy mad by calling her awkward?  Wish I could remember.  Either way, if it weren’t for this shiner, I’d be lookin’ cute today!

There’s a gazillion very nice free gifts for men (and some are unisex) over at the 1st Anniversary of Manhood!  I remember last year when it opened, and I was so excited there was another shopping event for men, and this one seems to be going strong.  The group is free to join, and once wearing your tag you can pick up over 60 gifts there!  I’m wearing a bunch today, let me tell you which:

Meet Me On The Roof

I found my dream living situation right here in SL.  Of course, that’s how it works, I could never afford to live in one of these cool city loft apartments in RL.  Chaos and Calm is a new region in the destination guide, it has apartments you can rent, and connected rooftop patios.  I want. Plus, you can get the very best entertainment without leaving your house, just step outside to your rooftop and listen to your neighbors fight 😉  I get the best gossip!

Found treasures

Treasure hunting is a fun activity, whether you’re looking for gifts in SL or thrifting IRL.  Today I’ve got some gifts I’ve found all over the grid for you guys.  Let’s start with my shirt!  This is a free gift over at the Manhood Event.  It’s made by Bartimeu.  You can find it located in the sign outside of the booth.  It comes in this red color and has a hud for the waist shirt.  It’s rigged for Legacy and Athletic, and to be honest, I do have some clipping on the arms and around my neck using my Jake, but generally it’s wearable for me.  You just need to join the free Manhood group to bring it home.  The event is open until April 21st.

Next, some gifts from the February issue of L’Homme I hadn’t shown you.  My cross earrings are a free gift from Badwolf, and come in silver.  You can choose to wear them connected or in just one ear.
I also picked up this Rockstar Necklace at The Forge, wearing my L’Homme tag.  I really have no idea which gift is for which edition, but it doesn’t matter, all of the gifts ever offered for the L’Homme group are available and you can get them all for free wearing your tag.  The L’Homme group is free to join.

Last but never least are my free shoes.  I could have sworn these had been blogged before but I can’t find them so I’ll talk about them again 😉  These are very nice high top paisley sneakers in red by Gabriel, and they’re a free gift for members of the Essential Inventory group.  These shoes are unisex and they come rigged for:
