One of the best events over the holidays is always checking out the tree at Cosmopolitan.  There are great gifts in the baubles hanging from the branches, and they are not to be missed.  To get them, just join for free and click on the decorations on the tree.  Some people derender the ones they’ve already clicked to keep track.  Here’s what I’m wearing:

In Hiding

Welp, Santa came into Secondlife and took the grid by storm!  It’s Santa’s Gift Storm!  Boy, this unexpectedly had me busy on Christmas Eve!  There are 45 stores participating, each one has a free gift for us.  A lot of the stores have the gifts under their group and have made their group free to join, some of them don’t need any group at all.  I’m flabbergasted by some of the super nice things this storm blew in!

Unisex holiday

I was pleasantly surprised at how many of these gifts were made for both male and female bodies, or are just unisex in general.  All you have to do is teleport to Santa’s Gift Storm’s starting location and click the sign.  Once you do, a NC of stores will drop right into your inventory.  Before you leave to collect your gifts, many of the stores at the landing spot have gifts so you can start there.  Also thank you Sekai for putting this all together!  Here’s some of what I picked up:

• Free Leather jacket from Gabriel (with scarf and tank, unisex, rigged for:  Jake, Gianni, Legacy, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn)
• Free Hat (and mask not shown) from [TRAP]

Although I didn’t blog it today, I want to mention that Vendetta has a very nice icy skin gift in this storm, which comes with a face skin and a body skin overlay.  I know a lot of men are having trouble finding body skin for their avatar, you should be able to add this overlay over the free skin in your welcome pack.  It’s in a very icy tone though, so you may be a little winter warlock-ish for now, but it should help to remove those baked on underwear you all don’t love so much. lol

The gifts should be available through January 2nd.
