Hey there, Fab Free! Happy Tuesday! You know, I’ve never been a morning person, but one of the things having a young puppy like Gus here forces me to do is to get up at five. Every. Single. Day. I’ve come to enjoy the peace and quiet the early dawn hours offer and the soft, diffused quality of the sunshine. It’s like it’s only just my pal and I, alone in the world, except for the peeps, chirps, and tweets of awakening birds floating in the air. The old Wren, who cherished extra hours of shut-eye, just wouldn’t have understood, but now I revel in this tranquil atmosphere. Here in today’s photo, we’re enjoying a quiet stroll along the deserted sand at the Love Kats sim during those hushed moments at sunrise. Let’s Do Some Summer Light Shopping
Yesterday, Gus and I decided to check out the Summer Light Fair and Hunt 4. This event runs from now until September 5th and focuses on everything related to summer – the sun, sea, shells, beaches, swimming, ice cream, and camping. You name it, if it relates to summer, you’ll probably find it here. Each booth in the fair features summer themed items to purchase, a blue tropical glass hunt object priced at just 3L$, and many of the designers are also offering free goodies as well.
My top today is part of the free gift found at the Telsiope’s Couture booth. There’s no group join required, and no hunting around, either. Simply touch the gift bag and Rebecca will be delivered to your inventory. The folder includes a complete outfit with a bralette and coordinating skirt, as well as a texture change HUD packed with 20 patterns for the top. It’s like getting 20 shirts in one for free! I was torn between the red and white polka dot design and the tropical motif I am sporting in the photo. I opted not to wear the skirt portion of the outfit since I wanted it to be black to match the background of the tropical print, but it was pretty with racy cut-outs at the hip.

Over at the Justice store, I found this adorable Cindy Skirt for just 50L$ as part of the 75% Off Retiring Soon Sale. This sexy mini skirt features pockets to keep all your essentials and includes a texture HUD so you can adjust the colors of the rivets and the built-in phone. A separate panty control HUD allows you to customize your look further. I purchased the Baltic Sea hue, but there are 15 other shades to choose from. Single-color varieties of the skirt cost 50L$ each, or you could pick up the entire fat pack of all sixteen shades for 300 L$.
