A Whirlwind of Gifts!

I don’t know what you’ve been doing the past few days. I’ve been in a tizzy collecting even more gifts at events running across the grid! Every time I blink my eyes it seems that another place is calling about free gifts. Touch All of the Balls

No, I’m not being naughty today, get your mind out of the gutter. I mean the balls on the Advent Christmas tree down on the first floor of the Cosmopolitan event. Each one contains a free gift from a different designer. You will need to join the Free Cosmopolitan group. One of the gifts is the stunning Lacey dress from Rapture. It has a number of little details that elevate it and the color, Pacific Blue, is simply gorgeous. I love a well made dress that stands out from the crowd. Go and get yours!

Yesterday I tizzied myself over to Dubai. It’s another event with free gifts for group members. The group is free to join. I did some quick unpacking and added the FOI Love earrings. They are large hoops with Love spelled out across the bottom. Very cute!

Crystal Blue Persuasion

Blue – it’s so often used in the English language as another way to describe sad or depressed, but my Mom’s favorite color was blue, my son’s favorite show was Blue’s Clues, every association I have with the color blue says JOY to me! Blue skies, blue seas, blueberries, what’s not to love?  It’s especially true now that there’s a new shopping event called The Blue Event, and shopping in Second Life brings all the joy!

The Blue Event is a mix of clothing, accessories and decor, and I saw items for both male and female bodies there too.  This is the 2nd or 3rd round of The Blue Event, but I believe the first 2 rounds kind of got swallowed up in the holidays.  We finally have some time to focus on this one, so let’s check out some of the gifts I picked up!

The Blue Event is open for 3 weeks at a time and the current round ends on January 8th, so there’s time to check it out.  You’ll need to join the free Blue Event group to pick up all the free gifts.
