Hello and happy Tuesday, my FabFree folks!
After several posts of cute and casual, I was starting to feel the need to remind myself what classy and elegant felt like. And as luck would have it. I found just the thing while I was shopping, of all places…. the Thrift Shop. If you haven’t been ‘in the know’, the Thrift Shop is a regular event and this round began on August 8th and runs until August 29th. That’s 22 days of 50% ( or so ) off the gathered designers and two massive rows of Gacha machines for us addicts.
I found this gorgeous purple evening gown in Tiffany’s Designs’ booth not for 50% off… but for FREE. This is the Lavish Mesh dress in purple and it’s free for everyone, no group needed. You get the five standard sizes and all this elegance.
The other thing I had to have from the Thrift Shop was this wonderful little dragon ear cuff. I hesitated to show him off with such a formal dress then I thought, yeah… that’s something I’d wear together in real life…. ‘Cause you know, you can’t get too stuffy when you’re going formal. 😉
This is the ‘Dragovar Ear Cuff’ from Ecru and he is only 10L at the Thrift Shop. The little dragon comes with both a right ear and a left ear version and a HUD with eight metallic colors. He is clearly meant to be worn with ‘human’ type ears but a little futzing with the edit controls and I had him fit to my own pointy ears easily enough. I have a feeling I won’t be taking him off any time soon.
