Don’t ask me why, perhaps it’s because those were my teenage years, when fashion first became a passion of mine and I first began expressing myself through my own personal style. I’d never miss a chance to try out a new character, cosplay, or fantasy! Though I admit, I’ve never done steampunk. So when I saw this amazing hat at the NSP Florals Cart at the Wash Sale (and only 10L — Woot!), I was all a twitter! It was a chance to put together a steam punk look with a great accessory from top quality designer and once I had the top hat on, I was thrilled!
I love the combination of rich fabrics, florals, and metal feathers! Then it was off to adventuring at a steampunk sim! (If you have time, check out New Babbage — I linked you below… very cool place!)

Here I am again, fresh from a one-week vacation. I am sporting the official color of men’s clothing on Second Life, so you know I am bringing my “A” game. “Blog or die!” that’s my motto. I would have it tattooed on my arm, but if I did, somewhere out there is a person with a name like Alfred J. Blog who would do something publicly embarrassing. Then I would have to pay again to get the tat removed. I blog hard, but I am also very practical. Oh, and cheap, too.
First up on my list of fantastic finds is this jacket from REDPANDA. The Leather Jacket With Shirt is currently offered as a very generous FREE group gift. It is a one piece mesh combo of the jacket and the simple T-shirt, a classic look for a male avy if there ever was one. My favorite color to wear it in is black, of course. So, newly back from the glorious sunshine, I figured it was time for me to go wild, and what better item to go wild in than these pants from Deadly Mouse? Their 1L Fashion Play Hunt For Him gift is a great outfit called Over Limit. It includes these crazy pants, subdued in color while the pattern is bursting with energy and life! They come in five sizes. Plus, this hunt gift also includes a great mesh hoodie in slate blue with excellent folds making it look very soft. Honestly if you like realistic looking clothes, and you want a solid blue hoodie, you are going to love the one that is in this box! I am going to give you a hint to help you find the hunt prize, which I rarely do, because I really want as many of you as possible to find this: “This hunt object is so small, it might drive you INSANE!” The hunt object is a small blue and black rectangle, and it’s easy. I promise.
I don’t wear jewelry often, so when I find something I have to like it immensely in order to consider posting it. Such is the case for the necklace I am wearing today. The Trophy Necklace from IT! I am wearing another fantastic FREE skin gift from the Midnight Mania Board at Tellaq. I have mentioned them before since they are one of the best sources for men’s skins on the grid (also one of the most generous). Join the FREE group at the front of the main store and run to the back of the store to tap that MM board. Where else can you get a skin this good, and in sixteen facial hair variations with bonus goodies thrown in FOR FREE? Seriously, if you are a guy on SL, make this a regular stop, and ladies, please give it a tap now and then to help us guys out. The target is high, usually requiring 500 slaps, but the board does close regularly and the gifts are outstanding.
While you are checking out that close up of the devilishly handsome guy in the picture above, take a good look at his eyes. These are the current FREE Group Gift eyes from IKON, one of my favorite eye merchants on the grid. Just yesterday Love posted them here, but they look just as great on male avies too. These IKON Unisex Triumph Eyes in Armor have a combination of brown and tan tones in them and if you click my pic twice, you should be able to zoom in to see them in spectacular detail.
