A Day at the Lake with Chrysalis and Boudoir

Greetings!

A quick post today to let you all know that Chrysalis has now closed their inworld store.  However, you can still purchase her beautiful designs on the Marketplace.  To make shopping a bit easier, for the bargain hunter, Chrysalis has two Marketplace stores….the regular priced Chrysalis and the Chrysalis Attic.  I found this wonderful Margot mesh long dress white in her attic store for only 75L!  This beautiful strapless sheath dress has classic lines and pintuck draping at the hem…finished off with the optional rossette, it is the perfect dress for a wonderful day wandering the countryside or an evening out for dinner and dancing.  You can also find a FREE Chrysalis – Bows & Butterflies dress *Special Gift* in the Chrysalis Attic.

I complimented the dress with the [Fairy Tail] Garden jewelry set (group gift/store closed) and an enchanting Spring Fairy Parasol (with animated butterflies), from Boudoir, a Gatcha prize (50L per play) at the entrance to the main store!  My shoes are the Jolie Sandals (beige/Slink flat feet compatible), part of a fat pack I bought from the 50% off sale Pure Poison had this past weekend.  If you missed the 50% sale or if you don’t use Slink feet…you can still benefit from a trip to Pure Poison!  The group is still free to join and there are TONS of FREE goodies at the main store landing point!

Kastle Rock Couture World Tour 2014 Gridwide Hunt

Last night I was running around the grid trying to check, double check and do a triple check on all the places listed in our ’30’ days list for new residents in SL.  It had been a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng day…my eyes were blurry and my head was getting fuzzy from all that crosschecking of information.  About half way through my tasks, I tp’d into Kastle Rock Couture to verify their information.  While camming around…looking for their Freebies for Newbies HUD…something caught my eye!  There was a big display for the Kastle Rock World Tour 2014 Gridwide Hunt.  At first, I thought I was just too tired to go on another hunt and I was ready to just file it away, in my brain, to explore it further today…BUT, in the Hunt display was a giant photo of a man and woman in the most comfy looking bathrobes I’d seen in a long time.  Now, perhaps it was because I was tired, or perhaps it was the Giraffe print trim, but I was HOOKED!  I HAD to have that FREE bathrobe!  So I grabbed the World Tour HUD and found the hint for the robe…it didn’t take long…thankfully KRC makes it easy to find their wonderful goodies.

I LOVE this plush, comfy, FREE Girafrika robe so much, I decided to wear it ALL day and treat myself to a little “me” time.  The folder contains a his and hers robe…however, they are not transferable.  So if you want one for your sweetheart, just take them with you so they can grab one for themselves!  Besides, hunts are more fun with friends and sweethearts. ❤ The World Tour 2014 Gridwide Hunt dates are 2/21-3/31.  You can find more information about it on the SL Hunts page .  I haven’t ventured out to check out more Hunt items yet…but when I do…I will be happy to share them with you.

Delirious for Delirium

I don’t mind getting all grungy, as a matter of fact I kind of enjoy the change of pace. And I am meeting some very interesting and helpful people along the way. Thanks Uschi and Matrushka, among others, for all the LM’s and info.

This was my easiest Lucky Chair gift from Delirium called Bianca. As soon as I landed the chair flipped to ?. YAY! Wildcard rounds are always fun to see who gets to it first. I ended up sitting on another girls head and won this. O.o

I can’t decide which of the 3 outfits I like better. Delirium‘s DRB (Dirty Rich Beautiful) is definitely a keeper. It comes with the jacket, 3 different tops (not shown), capri’s, collar, leg and arm cuffs, and little ties on the shoulders.

And the Lucky Chair I waited HOURS & HOURS for. Hide & Seek by Delirium. This is a dressier casual look with the long sleeve white button down under the tank top all on a jacket layer. The outfit comes with the top, jeans, leg prims and a shirt collar.

I really earned every one of these outfits, had some laughs and made a few friends along the way. It’s a good day. 🙂
