Glitter and Gold

Well Fabs, it’s been a while since I’ve sparkled, and perhaps you’re in the need of a little sparkle too?  If you are, read on, I’ve got loads of sparkle, and it’s all free.

Diamondesque

Depending on which light you’re in, this gown either looks like gorgeous glitter, or that it’s covered in thousands of diamondesque gems.  It’s simply beautiful.  I received it as a free gift from ARKONA.   Located on the PolyNation SIM are ARKONA, TARA and Find the Fish and they’re all having a Valentine’s Day sales event, and to lure you on over, they’ve provided some lovely free gifts!  You have to join each group, but each group is (temporarily?) free to join.  I brought home these gifts I’m wearing:

Take Me Down To Mexico

I want to take a moment to appreciate Arkona.  This store is focused on representing cultures from around the world, and I really enjoy that.  One of the best parts of Second Life, in my opinion, is the ability to ‘travel’ if you don’t have the time or money IRL to do so.

Today’s free gift is an ode to the Mexican culture.  I love this top.  You can pick it completely free by joining the SLF&O group for free and touching the gift.  I absolutely love the color palette of this top!   This top is sized for:

When you land at Arkona, you’re actually going to be in a yard for Facedesk, which I think is the parent company.  Just simply walk across the wooden bridge, and you’ll see the top on the front window of the store.  I wouldn’t put this off, last time I blogged a skirt it disappeared the next day!

Chasing The Sun

The best part about Second Life, is the ability to do things you cannot do in regular life, and wear things you’d never dream to wear too 😉  This ‘top’ for instance.  It’s more of a cascading jewelry piece that draws attention to your breasts, but with the right pasties, it could be a top.  The magic of SL.  I’ve been hanging on to it, just waiting to find the right piece of clothing to pair it with and I’m finally there.

Last week I used another one of the Romazin group gift jewelry sets in a post, and I’ve been looking for the right way to show off this top.  The top comes with a full metal and gem hud so you can suit it to anything you find.  Gold metal and red gems were perfect today.  The Romazin group is free to join, and above the desk in the store you’ll find a poster and all the gifts will deliver in one folder when you click it.   It is a rather regal piece, and it comes sized for Maitreya and Legacy bodies.

P.S.  The earrings I’m wearing are also another one of the group gifts at Romazin, so much beauty you can bring home for free!

Royalty

The skirt I paired my top with, is a group gift for the SLF&O group at Arkona.  It’s called the Royal skirt, and according to the vendor poster, is a tribute to royal Russian clothing design.  I certainly feel like royalty in this outfit.  Once I saw the gold accents on the skirt, I knew immediately it was meant to be paired with the Romazin top.  The SLF&O  group is free to join, so just slap on that tag and pick it up.  It comes sized for:

I did add a set of pasties to this top, which are a free gift over at La Maldita Bruja.  You all know I love this store.  There’s a million gifts everywhere, and so many of them are so useful.  This is a set of 3 types of pasties in gold, called the Soleil set.  I recommend you put ‘Soleil’ in area search to find them.  No group is needed to pick up the many gifts at LMB, just a lot of clicking!  Bring them home for 0L!
