Spooky, Ooky Thursday

I got an early jump on Halloween costumes today. I usually wear a costume every day in October so I like to upgrade. I’m sure with another Shop & Hop starting on October 5th and a number of seasonal hunts we’ll all be swimming in spooky stuff. If you’re a fan of visiting spooky/haunted places those are popping up all over the grid with many more to come. I found a spooky seaside town to roam today. It’s very well done.

It’s Thursday!

For me Thursdays brings another chance to pick up sale items (like I really need more clothing, accessories, etc)! Today’s Fifty5 Thursdays sale caused a squee moment. I found my first Halloween outfit at Cristal’s Creations. This cute garb is the Belinda Ghost outfit that I grabbed for only $55L! Score!! You get the entire outfit for that price: top & sleeves, skirt, panty, horns, & heels with what was called “windowpane” stockings when I was a mere teen. The top has a texture with cute little ghosties floating around on it. I’m not sure how many days the sale items are out so if this one suits you don’t wait to get it. *Note, it is sized only for Maitreya.*

The spooky spot I visited today is the Al FNA Halloween in Fisherman’s Cove. It’s a lovely little seaside town all decked out for Halloween. I do recommend a visit there.

Get busy cleaning out your inventory so you’ll have room for all the upcoming goodies. I should heed my own advice!

I have another quick post for you. I subscribe to the Fifty5 Thursday’s Sale Event so I get to see what’s on sale. I found a steal today! Cristal’s Creations has a three piece The Bees outfit on sale for $55L. It is so summery and cute. The outfit consists of the jacket, cropped halter top, and the bee decorated jeans.  I don’t know how long this item will be on sale for $55L so run to grab it if you like it.

Stuck in the Middle

Hello Fabulouses!  Here I am TRYING to relax in the winter sunshine (finally) with a steaming mug of coffee, and I am stuck smack-dab in the center of an adolescent contest of wills between a “guard” bear and a stubborn dog (yes I mean YOU, Ripley!).  It all started with a protective glare from Rip when this polar bear lumbered up to us.  Baloo the bear then stuck his tongue out at the Pupster, and the goofy face competition began…

At Least I am Decked out in Style

I seem to be favoring sweaters lately, and today’s top is no exception.  My chunky-knitted poncho is a limited time offer for Fifty5 Thursdays at Cristal’s Creations.  I love the bright splash of teal across the black background.  With its high collar and long sleeves, I’m sure to stay toasty warm even in the midst of icy glances, and even a possible snow ball fight between two young males.  The sweater is very well made with gorgeous detailing in the ribbed texture of the fabric, and gleaming buttons.  Fifty5 Thursday sales take place every week beginning on Thursdays, and run through Sunday, with many merchants choosing to leave the sale items up for sale all week long.  You can get a peek at the items available this week {HERE}.  The Elegant Black Poncho A package at Cristal’s Creations includes my poncho shown here as well as skinny blue jeans, which I opted not to wear.  Also set out is The Elegant Black Poncho B which is the same as my outfit, except the stripes are a rusty brown tone.  At only 55L for a complete outfit, it’s a great bargain.  I’m not sure how long it will be available past Sunday, so if you are interested, don’t delay in popping over to Cristal’s Creations.

A Girl With an Attitude in Black Leather Pants

Well, if I wasn’t trapped in the center of two posturing goofballs, I probably wouldn’t have my exasperated attitude, but I would definitely still have my stunning leather pants created for the Maitreya mesh body.  Packed with details such as zippered pockets and a glossy sheen to the leather, these pants also come with a 5-color texture change HUD to coordinate with whatever top you choose.  Although I wouldn’t wear these on a warm day, they are perfect for frosty weather. Calm Down Boys…..There Are Enough Ripley-Snacks for Everyone
