Timeless Style

Hello Fab Free!  Gus and I are back from a relaxing and a bit chilly autumn camping trip.  We had a great time, but are eager to return to what we love doing best – sharing budget-friendly fashion finds with our favorite readers.   Today we have a free lucky chair prize and a free group gift.

Gus-Approved Houndstooth

My sweater and trousers today are from the Nilsy Store.  As you enter the shop, you will see 3 Lucky Chairs on your right, and that’s where I scooped up this outfit for free.  The ecru top features an intricate texture and is sure to keep you warm on frosty fall mornings.  My belted pants are constructed with houndstooth fabric, which is an iconic classic.  To collect this timeless look for yourself, you need to be a member of the Nils Island Store group, but it is completely free to join.  There are 3 chairs, which rotate through a variety of prizes and letters every 5 minutes. You will need a bit of time and patience, but I’m sure you’ll find it’s well worth the wait.

Add a Bit of Sparkle

To accessorize my look, I donned the free Callie earrings from Second Nature Jewellery.  I used the resize script embedded in the mother-of-pearl baubles because they were initially a bit larger than I prefer, but you do you!  The gold and creamy color of the stones pair beautifully with the beige hues in my outfit.  These jewels are part of a set, which is a free gift for members of the BellaTECH Nation group, which has a 99L$ join fee.  This price is a bit steep, but the group features new monthly free gifts for members.  For September alone, there are 23 gifties available for the BellaTECH Nation crew!

Happy Saturday, Fabulous Readers!  Gus and I are back with two more prizes from the Still of the Night 2 Hunt to share with you.  We hope you like them!

You’ll Shine Like the Moon and Stars

For the Still of the Night 2 Hunt, you’ll be searching for a full moon as the hunt object, and each of the prizes has a slightly different price, but all are budget-friendly.  Our first stop today was the Simple Terms store.  After consulting with the handy in-store hint-giver, we located the moon and paid the 25L$ fee.  The prize folder contains a mini dress with a crossed halter-style neckline, a midnight blue bodice, and a star-studded asymmetrical skirt.  A translucent striped scarf and coordinating boots are also included.  This cute little frock would be ideal for date night or an afternoon out on the town.  No group is required to pick up a copy of the Silence Outfit for yourself.  All you need to do is locate the full moon concealed in the shop and pay the vendor.

The Finishing Touch

To complete my outfit, I added the Moonshine Choker from Adore Amore (also a prize in the Still of the Night 2 Hunt).  The package includes a HUD with 3 color choices for the neckband, the ability to select a gold, bronze, or silver moon, and 3 colors for the tiny gemstones on the crescent moon.  The necklace comes in Standard, Full Bright, and Moon Full Bright versions.  My pose in the main picture obscures the necklace, so I’ve included a smaller photo of it below.   To add this versatile necklace to your jewelry collection, you’ll need to find the moon hidden somewhere in the shop, and then pay the vendor fee of 30L$.

Dreaming of Fall

Hi there, Fabulous Readers!  Here in the USA, Labor Day weekend is considered the unofficial end of summer.  I know, I know, fall doesn’t start until September 22nd.  However, with temperatures in my part of the world still hovering well above 100, a girl’s gotta dream.  I found the outfit for my autumn daydream at the Crafty Weekend Sales today.

I’m So Ready for Fall

The Joyce Dress from Her features an off-the-shoulder style with long arm warmers.  It’s available in ten vivid fall colors, but I chose a rich chocolate hue that reminds me of a steaming mug of cocoa or a cafe mocha… two perfect fall drinks.
