What’s this? Another Fab Free blogger wearing a gorgeous gown that’s completely inappropriate in style and warmth for the season? Why yes, but it’s also a gorgeous ice blue color which IS perfect for the season, so …… the magic of Second Life it’ll be!

I’m sure you’ve heard the news by now that SWANK is open and has loads and loads of free gifts! Cre blogged some of the gifts HERE and of course, I’m following behind to show you my favorites. Although I don’t get the occasion to wear glamorous gowns and dresses in Second Life often, that doesn’t keep me from loving and admiring the beauty in them, and one of the best makers of said merchandise is Sacha’s Designs, or SAS. I picked up this lovely gown as one of the free gifts at SWANK by wearing my free tag and shopping. There are gifts in nearly every booth, and as you know SWANK is rather large. This beauty comes sized for:

• Reborn/Waifu
• Gen X/Gen X Curvy
• Kupra

Now this gown also comes with a very pretty flexi skirt piece you can add to it, but it was clashing with the snow and the gown is gorgeous and sleek without it too.

Princess

I couldn’t very well be an Ice Princess without the addition of some gorgeous jewels, so I added 2 other gifts I picked up at SWANK. First, this beautiful jewelry set, Boho Sapphire Set by Swank & Co. It comes with this long necklace and earrings, in silver and gold, and dripping in sapphires. It’s just so lovely.

I also found my own little princess tiara in the gifts, from Vesta. The Tala Headband comes with a full color hud to change the headband, jewels little balls on top and the stems. It was the perfect addition for this look.

Tell Me Something Good

Well Fabbies, I chose one of the most funkalicious songs to name this post after, because the most funkalicious item in the Womanstuff Hunt is my absolute favorite!  I’m so glad I decided to do this hunt.  I’ve done them for years and years, I’m sure I’ve missed a few, but THIS year, THIS year’s Womanstuff Hunt is incredible!

Stuff it!

You may know the ‘Stuff’ groups, Womanstuff, Menstuff, Homestuff ….. Each one of those groups has an annual hunt.  Each one of those groups is only 50L to join.  The Womenstuff Hunt just started on July 1 – and will go till the end of the month, and there are 106 prizes.  I can’t even math that in my head!  This is a grid wide hunt.  You have to go to the Womenstuff Lounge and click the poster to join the group, and then click it again to get the HUD.  You do have to be in the group to get the HUD, so the hunt isn’t completely free, since the group costs 50L to join, that being said, once you’re in the group, all 106 prizes are free on the hunt.

The HUD worked really well.  It will ask for your permission to TP you (say yes!).  Then, you click the icon that looks like a crown, but is really a teleport circle with particles rising up.  You’re now at the store you’re hunting in, and you’re looking for a red shopping bag or handbag.  Need a hint?  Click the ? button on the HUD and one will appear in local chat.  It’s a very well done hunt HUD!

OK so let’s talk about some of what I picked up in this hunt.  I hope to be back with more blog posts, but it depends on how many bloggers participate and what they may want to blog too 😉

This dress gives me such combo 1960’s/1970’s vibes.  The design and the texture are fabulous.  I’ll be wearing this one a lot for sure!

My bag has a lot of contents you can’t really see in the picture ….. it carries tulips, a loaf of  bread, some fruit and wines!  If you’re joining me for lunch, might I ask you to bring some cheese?

The jewelry is a complete set, including earrings, necklace and a ring for each hand.  It’s has a funky little design that was perfect with my dress.

I really was delighted with the amount of designers that had clothes rigged for Lara X in this hunt, I’ve increased my wardrobe by a ton!
