Metal Health (Bang Your Head)

Hey Fabs!  I decided to take a trip in the way back machine to almost any party in the late 80’s and early 90’s.  This was the Hair Band or Hair Metal era, lots of glam men who looked like glam women rockin’ it out!  Big layered hair, lots of make up, cigarettes and vodka.  Yep, nailed it!

I guess my only miss for this post was using a Quiet Riot song instead of one by Queensryche, since my 1L outfit is named the Queen set.  I’ve been doing a lot of grid wandering lately because the latter half of the summer is pretty slow in the freebie world, and you know I’m committed (while I can) to bringing you something every day.  So, I found [JHEKHO] and I found this great outfit on the wall as a dollarbie with no group join.  It comes with the top and skirt and it also comes with the tattoo!  This gift only comes rigged for eBody Reborn, but she does have a few other gifts, rigged for other bodies, so stop in and check it out.

My jewelry wasn’t free, but it was inexpensive, and is unisex!  I found my collar and my bracelets over at KAMU.  I was there recently for the silk road hunt, and saw these laying on the table.  My necklace was 10L and my bracelets (both single and double are in the pack) were 17L.  The owner of KAMU was one of the first people on FLICKR who encouraged me to blog too!  She has a little shop over at Mieville, and there’s a lot of little inexpensive items you can pick up.

Of course, this party wouldn’t be a rager without lots and lots of vodka.  These vodka bottles are part of a set made my [ISHUKU] and they’re a Fab Free group gift.  Aline blogged them HERE, and I checked the store the other day and the gift is still there for members of Fab Free, which, of course, is free to join.

Party on Garth!  Party on Wayne!  Now, who has my ibuprofen? lol
