Alice In RMK Bunny Hunt

The second annual Alice In RMK Bunny Hunt began on March 1st and runs until March 31st.  There are 26 absolutely free prizes to be found in this hunt.  I have put together a post of a handful of the items just to give you enough of a taste to get your butt down to the RMK sim and check it out.  This isn’t your usual “find the icon and grab the prize” kind of hunt.  This hunt is a hunt with a twist!

You can find hunting instructions and a list of participating stores at their official blog in several languages, but I’ll give you a simple rundown here 🙂

First thing you do, is go to the STARTING POINT.  There you will accept the hunt terms, and walk through them.  Then you will click on Humpty Dumpty to receive your free Card Soldier outfit.  There are several Card Soldier Outfits, but you can only receive one.  Some are rarer than others.  This is the perfect hunting outfit because it doesn’t contain any scripts and will ensure you have a low lag experience, but you don’t have to wear it to hunt!  After you have collected your Card Soldier, you can enter through the little door under Humpty to the garden area.

Once you are in the garden area you need to chase bunnies!  Literally.. look all over the place (and these are not limited to the garden, they could be anywhere!) for the little grey hoppy bunnies.  Once you have found a bunny, follow it around and don’t lose it, because it will eventually drop a ticket that you’ll need to pick up.  Keep an eye on that bunny, because it will only be dropping one ticket, and anyone could snatch it up before you get it!

After you have your ticket, wear it, and go to the co-ordinating store to search for an Alice In Wonderland Book which you will click on and it will give you the prize.   Normally these books are just on the reception desks, however a few I saw cleverly hidden.  DevinVaughn, who introduced me to this hunt, and was a big help explaining it all, gave me a time saving tip – which was to use the SLURLS on the main blog, not the actual landmarks in the tickets, because some of them are not correct.  There are last minute changes in hunts, and that’s to be understood with all that goes on organizing a hunt, but the SLURLS on the website work!  If you receive duplicate tickets, you can trade with others.  There is a Ticket Trading Area… but you can trade anywhere.

Even if you aren’t up for the hunt, head down there and check out the gorgeously decorated sim or.. attend a TEA PARTY!  YAY! It really is quite something!
