1 Hundred @ The Wash Cart Sale

Hey Fabulouses!  I’m back to share another cart at The Wash Cart Sale!  Today I am featuring the 1 Hundred cart, where you will find six sexy cute dresses priced at 10L each, 2 mesh tops priced at 10L each and the Heatwave Top in white for only 5L.  In the photo above, I am wearing the Friday Night Dress in Nude which has been a favourite of mine in my inventory for some time now.  I just love the shimmery texture!

I spoke with Second Life resident Zarah Ragu who was really enjoying herself at the sale and had just bought up the whole 1 Hundred cart.   While this was her first cart sale, I am pretty confident it won’t be her last.  She had just arrived when I found her, but she was excited by all the various designers that were participating in the sale.  Zarah says “I absolutely LOVE 1Hundred!“.

As I was grabbing the slurl for the cart to finish up this post, I spotted a Mr. A Drake strolling down the sidewalk and thought it would be interesting to hear a man’s perspective on the cart sale.  He had been to previous sales, and comes back because as he says “I like some of the designers here, and they put great stuff up for sale.“.  He then added “And to pick up chicks.”.  I do believe he was kidding, but I wished him luck just in case.  The Wash sim is packed with a ton of very friendly people, so I can see how it would be a great place to hang out and meet new people while you are doing a little shopping.

A Dirty Little Secret @ The Wash Cart Sale

Confession: I sometimes sing and dance around my house when no one is looking. Ok, Nessie is looking, and she probably thinks I sound like a sick cat. But she’s a good sport and always puts up with my silly antics. 🙂

I might sound awful, but at least I look good. Nessie and I popped over to The Wash Cart Sale today and boy, the joint was jumpin’! These Spring Love Letter Jeans are not mesh, but they do come in both gray and pink. I still haven’t figured out what they say, but the writing is pretty. 🙂 These mesh flats are texture-change with 3 different colors/patterns. You can even change the amount of shininess!

MOCKing Bernadette in Glitterati

I’m feeling all “50’s Pin-up Girl” in this fabulous, poofy dress, the February group gift from !Glitterati by Sapphire. The !Glitterati! group is 50L to join, but the monthly group gifts and member discounts are plentiful, and more than worth the join fee. My Loveshack updo is  by ::Exile::, and is available for only 95L until February 28th at My Attic. Does it remind you of the B-52s, or is that just me? 😉 My bag is the Little Clutch by ::Duh!::. I sprang for the 50L fatpack, but you can get 2 colors for only 20L, if you prefer.

In search of accessories, I wandered into the Womenstuff Lounge and found this Pearl & Ruby set by Always Eclectic. The Womenstuff group is 50L to join and worth every Linden. This lovely skin is a group gift from M.O.C.K. Cosmetics . The M.O.C.K. group is 250L to join, but Mockie is more than generous with the gifts, and when she’s feeling creative, look out! Right now, there are so many gifts sitting in the notices that I haven’t even had enough time to open them all yet! Bernadette comes in 4 different brow colors, and includes skin appliers for Lolas. The Lavender Hill Hunt

OoOoOoO This is a fantastic hunt that just makes me feel SO SPRINGY with all of the gorgeous gifts being themed in a sweet shade of lavender 🙂  The Lavender Hill Hunt is put on by Monochrome Hunts and runs  from February 25th – March 10th.  Each prize is 5L and the icon you are looking for is a lavender coloured swatch.  There are approximately 20 stores participating in this hunt – so you’ll be done in a jiffy!

Crazy For Corsets At Adoness

If I had to choose just one thing that I love from Adoness, I would have to say it is the corsets!  I SUPER LOVE the corsets from Adoness because they fit just right, and are textured perfectly every time, making a plain jane outfit – POP!  Until the 28th of February you can hunt in the shop for the Jack or Jill hunt icon, and once you have located it, you can pick it up for free.  Inside the hunt icon is this very smexy mesh Vesna Corset in the colour of berry.  Under the corset, I am wearing one of Janes free Intrinsic Tank Tops, but you could make it even sexier with a lacy black bra.

Sn@tching Up Great Deals @ The Wash Cart Sale

It’s a busy Monday morning on The Wash Sim @ The Cart Sale!  The streets are flooded with shoppers looking for great deals, and freebies too!  On the Sn@tch cart, I noticed that there were some really great outfits, like the Sequin & Velvet set I snagged for 10L shown above (includes the velvet plum pants & mesh sequin blouse), but also a free gift!  The Wash Duffel Bag is free to everyone, so make sure you swing by and grab it!

I wasn’t the only one sn@tching up everything on this cart lol, FabFree reader of 5 years, Athena M. was jut as guilty, and had picked up the whole cart too as Ivey is one of her favourite designers in Second Life.  Athena has been attending the Cart Sales for three years now, and returns to each event because there are quite a few designers she likes that participate in this event, it’s a great place to find new ones, and a wonderful place to find great bargains.  She also adds “I do like that you can find items that are no copy/transfer so I do some gift shopping here as well.”.

Alissa Visits The Black Market

This gem of a mesh dress is Masoom’s Kumi in Black and can be found at this round of The Black Market for just 100L!  I am a big fan of the cut and texturing is A+.  I have accessorized it with the newly released Gothic Pearl Jewelry Set at SG’s Designs that is on sale for a very limited time for just 10L.  It includes the necklace, earrings, ring and bracelet.

The classy skin I am in is the latest group gift at Modish called Alissa.  The group is 10L to join and once you are a member, you can pick up the Alissa gift that includes skins in both the Choco and Crema skin tones with cleavage / non cleavage options.

Living Glamorously in Fuschia and Rose

Happy Saturday, Fabulouses – or what’s left of it anyway! I’m out of town on vacation this weekend, but wanted to pop in and share with you this cute outfit that I picked up on sale at {Liv-Glam} last week. It’s the Farhi Linen Outfit in fuschia, and includes the mesh jacket and shorts, and sheer blouse underneath. I’ll admit that it’s not free – it was on sale for 55L Thursday – but since I love purple so much, I just couldn’t resist showing it to you. The same outfit in lime is also on sale for 49L for Secret Wednesday, so if you like green better, you can score that deal too!

Isn’t this skin pretty? I thought so too! I love the soft, lavender eye shadow. It’s a wearable demo of DeeTaleZ‘s new line of Brilliance Skins, this one called Gogo Rose. Aeva / / Heartsick @ The Wash Cart Sale

Another trip down to the Cart Sale @ The Wash today, and this time I picked up Aeva // Heartsick’s  Faith ~ 2 // Okami  skin that is available in 6 skin tones for 10L each.  This skin is also available in a petite version to be applied to Yabu Petite mesh avatars.  What a stunning skin this is, and has inspired me to go to the mainstore and try a demo of the new Faith line!

While I was down there doing some shopping I met Raine Shilling, who is an avid FabFree reader and describes herself as a shape shifter, a vampire, a DJ, a goof off, and a RPer here in SL.  Raine was a very beautiful human avatar when I met her, however she wasn’t kidding when she said she shape shifts often, she proved it with a photo of her in a giant dragon avatar!  She has a very eclectic wardrobe, snatching items from the carts, left and right as they catch her eye and returns to the cart sales whenever they are running  because she loves that she can find such great things.  She adds “You can’t beat the prices!“.
