Hey FabCrew! My computer is now officially… “On the Work Bench”. With any luck my new screen will be here Friday or Saturday and I can get back to normal. But for now, thank heavens for a packrat husband who never throws anything out including old laptops. It’s all a perfect reason to just stay here at the pool on the Grid.
I figured a hunt would help leave my worries behind so I grabbed Gabe and we popped over to Rea to hunt down these cool graphic swim suits, both named “Read Me”.. My bikini and his board shorts each come with a HUD to pick one of 6 black and white graphic patterns. The fit is perfect and the suits are a beautiful build. Both suits are part of the “Around the Grid in 80 Days Hunt” and will only set you back 1L for each.
With all that black and white, we need a dash of color now! Partners in Crime are supplying that with these super cute pool floats. The “Free Willy” whale floaties are the current free gift for all us Fabulously Free Group members! So you can add them to your pool or hot tube or lake or wherever just for being an awesome FabFree Member. Willy comes in all three colors you see here and each whale has 3 sits for male and female.
So we are gonna kick back and drift around and soak up some sun without a care in the world. So go grab your suit and dive in!

Last, but hopefully not least… I’m here for Free Skin Day! Better late than never, right? So let’s jump right in.
First up, are two nice FREE skin packs from Curious Kitties. The #1 is the Azil Skin – Winter Spirit shown on the Moon skin. Each Azil free pack comes with eight skin tones from very light to this nice midnight blue-ish tone. Skin #2 is also Azil but it’s the Light Sparkle Skin. I liked the soft look to the skin but the Wisp skin with it’s leopard spots and swirls just made me fall in love. The Wisp skin is also in the Winter Spirit pack just with the frosty face paint. These skins do not come with any appliers nor could I find appliers in store. But matching via the color HUDs shouldn’t be too big of a problem. Both of these packs are FREEfor everyone, no group needed!

Next up is Birdy with two Group Gifts: Jaime and Ali. The Birdy VIP Group is a one time fee of 150L. Jaime, #1 , is in the Toffee tone and comes with a ton of add-ons and a HUD for NyamNyam. The add-ons are on the tattoo layer and include freckles, eye liner, three colors of lip gloss, three levels of ‘face contouring’ for definition, and two face ‘Dews’. All of the appliers are available in the main Birdy store.
You may remember, I showed you the Ali group gift skin back here. Ali is still available and includes all of the same tattoo layers and NyamNyam Hud. However, you also get the skin with four brows with the Ali gift: no brows, black, blonde and ginger.

Deluxe Body Factory is next with the December Group Gift: Shanice in Chi. DBF is great for getting out monthly group gift skins for both men and women and the quality of the skins is wonderful. The Shanice skin comes with a brow shaper but no appliers. Those are available separately in-store. DBF’s group has a small fee to join but that 49L one time fee lets you play at the twenty lucky boards in the back of the store. That’s where I picked up skin #2: Maja. This gift comes with a brow shaper as well as appliers for SLink hands and feet and Lolas Tango. Maja , in Vanilla, comes with three levels of cleavage as well.

Lastly, we have a very familiar skin designer, 7 Deadly Skins. Familiar and very generous. 7DS is another shore that is great with getting out monthly group gifts for both men and women and they have four lucky chairs and two camping chairs, plus two Midnight Manias one for girls and one for guys. My favorite of this group is #1, Esmee DC Pineapple. I was lucky enough to pull this beautiful skin from one of the Lucky Chairs. Esmee comes in two versions one with the cute freckles and one without plus each has a cleavage level. There are also appliers for SLink hands and feet, phatazz and Tango.
#2 is Savannah and I won this skin on the Midnight Mania board. Savannah also comes in two version with different lip colors and levels of cleavage plus appliers for SLink hands and feet and Tango cleavage and no cleavage.
7 Deadly Skins just started their Holiday Advent gift calendar and #3 is todays first gift. The Advent gifts are all the same skin: Noelia but by the end of the calendar you will have sixty skins ( with and without cleavage) appliers, the shape, an eyeliner pack, a lipstick pack and face appliers. For you guys the Advent gift is Noah. At the end of the calendar you will have twenty eight skins ( with and without hair base) the shape, Omega and TMP face appliers and SLink Body appliers. That, my dears… is a heck of a gift!
Right now, the Group is FREE to join however I don’t know how long this will last.

Blues is quickly becoming one of my ‘go to’ hair designers. While it isn’t a large as some shops the creative and quality of the builds is spot on.
1. – ‘Bono’ – This tossled feminine style comes with seven HUDs of fades and naturals and fun colors. I kinda wish my RL hair looked like this…… (Free/Group Gift/ Group is 70L to join)

Another one of my ‘go to’ designers is Phoenix. While the Group is not free to join, the small 50L fee is quickly made up with the group gifts and specials.

Next up is Curious Kitties. I love this designer’s shop! It’s full of freebies and gifts and some really nifty clothes, skins and full avatars. I could spend all day just wandering around looking at everything. So it didn’t surprise me when I found such super cool unique gift hairs here.
– ‘Christmas Angel’ – I love the wings! (Free Gift/no group needed)
– ‘Frasti’ – White is one of my favorite SL hair colors and when you add snowflakes and sparkle… I’m all over it. (Free Gift/no group needed)

Last but not least is Lala Moon. I first encountered this designer at the Hair Fair and that led me to this fun Japanese video game inspired hair, “Phoenix”. Not only is it free for everyone, no group needed… it comes with twenty four colors to pick from! (Free Gift/no group needed)

Happy Monday everyone! What is the best thing to ease into a long work week? An entirely free, and super cute, outfit! A little birdie told me about free Minions purses over as Muschi, so I made a beeline for the store. In addition to this purple Minion bag, there is also a regular, yellow version available. Not only is Muschi generously giving out these purses, they also have this adorable mini dress out as a gift.
Vanity Hair has this beautiful, rainbow hair for free in the group gifts section (No group needed for this hair! But there are a ton more cute styles for free if you do join the group, and it is very worth it). The Damasc Bangles, the current group gift from Maxi Gossamer is the perfect touch for this outfit. The set is amazing, with options for full sets of bangles, our add each bangle separately for endless customization.
Rounding out the day are these mesh stockings and Dolly shoes from Curious Kitties. I love the big, clunky mary janes, and think they give a great balance to the minidress.
Right now the Marketplace is positively over-flowing with Halloween goodness! I came across this adorable little dress from “Sweet Gift”. The flared skirt and dainty Halloween themed print give this dress an almost innocent look. I also picked up a few accessories our own Care had blogged previously here, cause they were just too perfect for this dress! Dress in hand I searched the Marketplace high and low for a few things to complete my outfit, and I absolutely adore the results! Who says Halloween has to be all tricks and treats, with this outfit, Halloween is looking sugary sweet! Enjoy!

After getting dressed in my new outfit, I wanted to find someplace fun to hang out…. I found the INSILICO sim, which is a Cyberpunk roleplay community @ http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/INSILICO/190/183/3603… You dont have to be a RP player to enjoy this sim though!!! It’s got a full shopping district, dance halls, RP areas, as well as apartments you can rent if you are looking for a new home in an environment that is certainly playful on the senses!!
Apparently I wear my GAGA sunglasses at night!!! … Me and Corey Hart must be cozy and stuff!! I may not have been sporting armor and a jetpack but I certainly felt stylish in my new outfit from PeKaS… This skirt and top ensemble is May’s Group Gift and fits like a glove ❤ It also moves well and is textured with flair…
