Hello there, Fabulouses!  Since Ripley and I were enjoying the first snowfall in our last post, I decided to slip on some ice skates and glide across the frozen pond while I had the chance.  Ripley absolutely refused to step foot onto the slippery surface, and watched safely from the shore.  I put together my outfit for just 1 Linden dollar by combining a hunt prize and a free group gift, and I’m excited to tell you about it!

A Serendipitous Discovery

While I was at the Grumble store searching for the Snowflake sweater in the Long Winter’s Nap Hunt, I stumbled across a neatly folded shirt, which is the hunt object for the Hoarders of Second Life Hunt.  It was just 1 Linden dollar, so I scooped it up, and decided to take it home to open later.  I am so glad I picked it up on a whim, because the sweet Word Dress was tucked inside.  Featuring a thick knit, loose turtleneck collar, and open shoulders, this form-fitting frock could be worn solo for a cute indoor mini, but since I was outside, I opted to slip on some cozy leggings (more on those later).  Just in case Jolly Old Saint Nick is watching, I like how the word “Sweet” is emblazoned just below the collar.  Hey, it never hurts to remind Santa how nice I am!  😉 The smoky charcoal gray hue is subtle and would coordinate with a variety of colors.

Gotta Keep Warm!

‘Tis the Season for Gratitude
