The Rain The Park And Other Things

OK Fabs, you know I always use song titles for my blog posts (and I always list some relate-able lyrics and the video on the FLICKR picture). You might think this is an odd song title for a post, but in fact, this song is an original hippie song from the 60’s, and it’s otherwise known as ‘The Flower Girl Song” 😉

Flower Power

Of course it was my free dress that inspired the song choice! I found this Riloa dress over at AMUI and it’s one of a few different colors, all gifts for various freebie groups. You can bring home this dress in all the colors you like by joining the group the gift is for, but I have a tendency to pick teal when given a choice, so I joined Mesh Body Friends for free and brought this home. You can find them on the opposite side of the wall when you land, and there’s lots and lots of choices. You know I love my hippie style, but I’m also super partial to the gold chain as one of the dress straps. It comes rigged for:

I’ve been hanging on to these earrings waiting for the right dress, and I can finally use them! They are a group gift from pr!tty, and the group is free to join. Of course, now that I’m blogging them the store is in the middle of moving, so fingers crossed they’ll still be available when the new store is set up! They come in gold, silver and rose gold. She doesn’t have a Marketplace, and the only link I can give you for the store is her FLICKR. Hopefully you can follow her there and get notified when her new store opens.

No 60’s look is complete without a heavy dose of color on your eyelids, so I added some eyeshadow I picked up over at [eyecing]. This is a fatpack of BOM eyeshadows for EvoX, and they’re a Fab Free group gift. As you know, Fab Free is free to join and I’m hoping most of our readers are already in our in-world group!
