How Far We’ve Come

Sometimes I think about how far SL has come in the (gasp) 9 years I’ve been hanging out in this crazy virtual world.  If you’ve been around SL for as long as me, think about all the stuff we used to wear!  Think about the blocky worlds we used to hang out in!  Our faces didn’t move, our hands didn’t move, but our hair sure did.  So when I stand in a sim as pretty as this one, wearing a dress as pretty as this one, I kind of smile a bit internally at the world we’ve all created together.

Ur Fave

I do love finding shops that are new to me, and Ur.Favorite.One (aka U.F.O.) certainly falls into that category.  They’ve got two pretty dresses (sized for Maitreya) out as group gifts for members of their free to join group.  One in a dusky red kind of hue that you can pick up in their shop, and a second one in mint you can grab on Marketplace for free if you don’t have a group spot you want to give up.  That works for me!
