I never need an excuse to get dressed up in SL, of course. Any day and any time of day is perfect to don a sparkly gown, and today is just one of those days where I’m ready to walk into any ballroom on the grid. Or grocery store. I always say, catwalks are everywhere.
Hollywood Glam
Velour is hosting one of their hunts, which is full of makeup, skins, nails and all sorts, and since I don’t usually go in for skin changes (you know me, happy with how I look…) but I will always go in for cute clothes! I hunted for stars hidden around the sim from the different participating stores and settled on this sparkly gown by Shoplifter (which is 20L) and a nice pair of pumps by Salvadori (25L). You’ve got until the 22nd to take part, so don’t wait too long! Check out all the prizes below.

The good news is I have some great finds to tell ya’ll about today. First is my new shoes and handbag! These are just 2 of the 6 pairs of shoes and bags you can find at the Velour Mall St Patrick’s Hunt running until March 20th. Miss CreCre showed you a couple of the other gifts here and here. So, of course, I had to get in on that action! The “Patrick Platform Pumps” by Salvadori can be hunted down in black or white or green and each set only costs 10L. Salvadori is also the designer of the “Patrick Baguette” purse which is also offered in black, white and green. Each bag is also only 10L. The Velour Mall St. Patrick’s Hunt will be over soon so hurry over!

The most awesome news I have is about my outfit. I was contacted by the lovely designer for “Dusza” to tell me she had 2 beautiful free gifts she’d like to show me. And I was so pleased she did because my new top and skirt are gorgeous. The “Breslavia” top comes with a HUD to choose from 4 patterns/colors. I love this watercolor-ish blue but I had a hard time picking just 1 to show. Same goes for the “Plock” mini skirt with a HUD for 4 choices. Just join the free Group and grab your gifts. I can see both of these becoming a permanent part of my wardrobe. They’re perfect for a little Spring shopping or a wander around the Grid.
Dusza is a new shop with a free to join Group and a nice selection of new items for sale. The items I picked up all are very nicely made and textured. I certainly appreciated the colors and patterns as well. It’s always a pleasure to find new designers here on the Grid and when they are as friendly and talented as Dusza is… then my whole day is made! So be sure to go check it out. You’ll be glad you did.
