Zombies make lovely music to dance to!

If you all can remember, I have ended up in a few spots with zombies, with my first zombie shoot taking place in Dusty Heights (HERE is the link to that post). Would you believe, there is an absolutely gorgeous ballroom, right smack dab in the middle of that place? So of course, when I saw the kinds of gifts Shamic and I were collecting from The Silver Platter Hunt, quite a few formal wear outfits for him and her, well…I thought what better way to initiate Shamic into FabFree blog posts, than to drag him there. We danced to the music of zombie groans and doors being rattled, it was awesome!

Our whole foray into the Silver Platter Hunt, which prompted me to head to a ballroom, started with the lovely Pru sending me a link to the hunt’s blog gift preview page, telling me that there was a nice male skin available at Style by Kira. She was right, of course, and lucky for me, there was a really lovely female skin available for the hunt as well. I am wearing the Style by Kira – Janelle Skin SPH, and Shamic has on the Style by Kira – Anton Skin SPH. Both of these skins will cost you a whole L$1 each. Or, and this is one of the neat features of this hunt, if you do not want to take the time to root out the hunt gifts, all you need to do is find the hunt sign at the store, and the hunt gifts are available there for you without having to search, the catch, these one’s are L$25. So..there are 2 sets of the same gifts, the L$25 ones, are right beside the hunt sign, and the L$1 ones, are hidden somewhere in the store, and will take a little time to find, the choice is up to you. Either way, these skins are well worth the extra time or extra money.

Our formal wear is from Wicked Sin Creations, and they compliment each other so nicely.  I have on the ^WSC^ Opulent *Red/Black* {Mesh} Gown, and Shamic is wearing the ^WSC^ Tuxedo *Red Waist Band* {Mesh}. Both outfits are mesh, with the standard sizes available. Like the skin gifts, you can choose to search for the hunt gift (both male and female gifts are in one object) and only pay L$1, or go to the hunt sign and pay L$25. While there are hints on the hunt’s blog site, the hint for this item is wrong, so I will give you my own hint “Hey Sweet Sugar, Be Mine!”. I just love the matching red colour of my dress and Shamic’s cumberbund, and we look so elegant together 🙂

The Silver Platter Hunt runs until September 15th, and with a large majority of the stores having either a unisex gift, or both a male and female gift, it’s a great hunt to do together with your honey, or just your male alt…like me 😛 LOL. I better not let Shamic hear me call him just my male alt, I might hurt his feelings.
