Have Your Bunbun Cake and Eat it Too

 

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter today! Lately I’ve been shopping, hunting, and Hippity Hoppitying around the grid and having a blast doing it. And I love being a bunny; who doesn’t? This is a quick post to tell you about ears.

Yesterday on my shopping rounds I saw these very cool animesh floppy bunny ears. They are adorbs when they move around. The Floppy Ears are out at Tardfish for So Kawaii Sundays. There are several color options available. Each is priced at $65L. The sale price is available until 4/10. While there I joined the free group at Tardfish and found a wall full of gifts. You may want to check out the gifts there as well as other sale items. You may think bunny ears are only for Easter but you can wear them any time you feel like being a cute hare.

My Bunny Cake is the current Teleport Hub group gift at Believe. It looks yummy.  You do have to watch not to poke your eyes out with the bunnies’ ears and/or candles. The TeleportHub group is $10L to join and the gift is otherwise free.

Time for me to go clean out my ears and eat my cake. Don’t eat too many chocolate eggs today!

Read My Lips

I’ve got another post for you tonight to honour the late Palomma Casanova.  Saying goodbye to an SL institution is proving difficult for me, but I’m happy to go through the venerable building finding things I had not seen, and remembering things I had found there in the past.  Do visit before it all disappears, we know not when.

Zoom

My outfit tonight comes courtesy of Zoom at The Free Dove.  The dress and sweater come in two different gifts, but I thought they worked pretty well together.  The top comes with several different textures in the HUD, all of which are pretty fun.  Of course, to get them all you must do is join free group at The Free Dove, and click on the gifts.  Be sure to leave a note in the guest books while you’re there.  The latest news I can pass on to you is that (as far as I can gather it) there will be a meeting on the 26th with Patch Linden present in order to discuss possibilities for a permanent memorial.  I shall keep you updated if I hear more.

Sweater Weather

It’s sweater weather, so cold and windy right now where I live.  No way would I be wearing this cute jean skirt from ADD in RL, but thank goodness it can be any weather you want in SL.  For this post I imagine it’s just a bit under 70 which would be perfect for a little sweater and boots but not to too cold for short skirt.

You can find this adorable skirt from ADD as one of the group gifts and only 20L to join the group.  The sweater from Zoom was lost in my inventory until a search for sweaters revealed it (amazing how that works LOL).

Bellisseria Road Trip – Day One

In one of my previous posts titled “Bicycle Not Built For Two” I mentioned Bellisseria, where the 2nd generation of linden homes are located.  This area is connected together by roads, railways and sea so you can travel from parcel to parcel without teleporting by walking, driving, biking and boating.  This is day 1 of a 7 day road trip around Bellisseria.  My traveling companion on this trip is my beloved dog Clyde.

I started my trip from my home and wanted to be comfortable as I didn’t know how long it would take me to find my camping spot for the night.  I found these cute sweats for free from Blueberry, the puffer jacket is a free group gift from The Free Dove, and the shoes are a free gift from the Orsy event.

I drove for about 30 minutes (I calculate that is 2 or 3 hours in SL time) and found a great spot to rest and eat lunch.  You can rezz a car or boat in this area, but be quick to jump in or it will auto return to you.

Another 30 minutes and a few dead end turn arounds later (SL GPS is not as good and RL) I found the perfect place to setup my tent and get some sleep before heading out for more adventures.  You can’t rezz where I setup camp so I had to use items that you wear (moved around for pictures).

Summer Festival

I’ve got my head in the clouds today, my mind on far off places and people.  It’s a good day for daydreaming!

Friday and this gal is feeling saucy.  And by saucy, I mean I have a giant pile of sauce.  There’s a thing I’ve never said before, and most likely will never say again… anyway!

Feeling Lucky

Over at Pink Cream Pie, the lucky boards have been filled with plenty (50!) of new prizes, which includes tops, dresses, shoes and more in all bright cheerful shades.  These boards are great because they move really fast (1 minute between flips!) and are separated by letters and numbers, so if you’re a letter A, you won’t constantly be cursing that number 3 that keeps popping up.   I got this fun dress when my letter came up, which is a bright yellow, but comes with an HUD that allows you to change the colour of the lining, or remove it entirely.  To take part in the fun, join the Pink Cream Pie group for 314L, and hang out in the VIP lounge upstairs.  PCP is a great group to get in and stay in, because you get a gift every month, these awesome lucky boards, and store credit every month.  Make it happen!
