Meet-Cute

It’s an excellent day for a trip to an art gallery. I find that most days are, but today seems to be a particularly arty type of day.  I’ll just wander about pretending I know things about art, and maybe I’ll have one of those moments that only happens in movies where some extremely handsome and tall fellow stands beside me and comments on the brush strokes of a certain painting and we fall desperately in love.   Stranger things have happened… especially in SL!

It’s Magic!

Hey Gang!

Just recently I was casting a spell (as I always do), and this photo was taken just before things went horribly wrong…  I mean, I was pretty oblivious (as usual!), and had no idea how powerful my conjuring spell really was!  Huh!  I guess I pack a wallop!

I’ve discovered a wonderful “new to me” shop thanks to our own Ms. Julianna!  Honestly, I am enamored with most everything in the shop and to my delight discovered they have a discounted area with gorgeousness I can share with y’all on the blog.

Hey, FabFree! I know I am a few days early, but Happy Halloween! Woodland Witch

Sometimes there’s no other way to describe a place except to say that it feels homey. I feel that way about this magical little setting I put together with a few of the Fantasy Forest Hunt prizes. The Fantasy Forest Hunt is running through the end of May, so there’s still a bit of time to get hunting. For my witchy woodland setting I picked up the gifts from The Artist Shed, Collect, and Tentacle Experiment.  Each prize is just 5 lindens, and you’ll be hunting for a small grouping of mushrooms.

The Artist Shed

This detailed armchair with its decadent floral fabric is the Fantasy Forest Hunt prize at The Artist Shed. The chair is 6 land impact prims, and has a single unisex sit pose. It’s also copy, so you’ll be able to rez multiple chairs if you wish. This FFH gift is just 5 lindens.

Collect 

The carved pillar and tree with hanging lanterns giving light to this setting is the 5 linden Fantasy Forest Hunt gift at Collect. It too has really nice details with only 8 land impact prims. After all, what witchy retreat would be complete with out a light to conjure by.

Tentacle Experiment 

Tying everything together is the Fantasy Forest Hunt prize at Tentacle Experiment. Also just 5 linden and 5 land impact prims, this FFH prize is full of witchy whimsy. It includes the trio of rocks, broom, books, and animated grass. The grass seems to be subtly waving in the wind, or perhaps it is the magic emanating from the books and broom that causes the grass to dance.

It’s true, sometimes it’s all about the boots, and maybe the pumpkins too. At least that holds true for this post.
