Cookies & Cocoa

Hey Gang!

Holiday festivities continue!  I’ve been working hard in my little kitchen trying to make some cute Christmas cookies that don’t look like a lunatic decorated them.  I think they are coming out all right.  Whew!  It’s work!  But it’s fun.  Now it’s time for a hot chocolate break.

All The Fixin’s!

My hot chocolate mug is from The Arcade, made by Movement.  I was lucky and scored the rare on this one, and it is overflowing with yummy Christmas-ness.  I think it must be straight from Santa because it says “Ho ho ho” on the cup.  Either that or someone thinks I have a much more fun social life than I actually have!  *snort!*

The machine is only 50L a play and there are so many cute holiday mugs.  You get one to hold and one for decoration.

Sweater Weather

In real life the heat in my apartment stinks.  You click it up to high but the baseboards stay ice cold, and just sort of come on randomly much much later on.  I think the complex controls them and they just put a switch to make us think we do.  So I am always cold.  That leads me to loving a nice snuggly sweater both in real life and second life, like this super cute one from VISion, which is a free gift at the Winter Shop & Hop.  They have three designs, all very cute.

There is no group needed to grab the Shop & Hop gifts, you just need a free afternoon to run around and grab them all.  It’s much quieter there now that the rush is over, so it’s a nice relaxing stroll now.

Festive Hats, Old & New

My cute hat is an old group gift from Argrace.  When I went to see if they still have it available, but instead I found a bunch more for both men and women, and you only need to be a part of the update group (there is a podium you can click on).  I don’t *think* there is a cost, as it is not an sl group, but as I was already a part of it, I couldn’t tell.  So let us know and we can update this post, if there is a cost.  I don’t think there is though!

Hey Gang!

Yeah I’m starting off with a bad snow joke, and that’s snow joke!  So Jacx was talking about a snowball fight the other day in her post and I’ve decided to take her up on her offer.  I’m not sure she knows what she has gotten herself into though.  I am *very* competitive!  I also have the same set of poses from Fashiowl from Shop & Hop (free), so I am armed and ready to go too!  (I can’t throw snowballs without arms, you know!)

I’ve put together an eclectic combo of an outfit for the fight, me and cold aren’t the best of buddies (despite my Elsa obsession!), and so whatever I can throw together that keeps me warmest, gosh-darnit, that’s what I’m gonna wear when it’s cold!

Freebies, Freebies and More Freebies! (and maybe a couple of great deals for good measure!)

I’m sure most of you are familiar with the free mesh heads from Lelutka this past week, I have the *worst* luck trying to get into crowded places like that and I feel like I am always the last to grab anything that there is a big rush for.  Nonetheless, I am sporting the brand spankin’ new Kaya head which is a free group gift (free group join) from Lelutka.  (There’s one for the guys as well!)  My skin is also a freebie, it is a group gift from Koonz.  Their group is free to join.

Usually I use my own shape, but I really liked the free shape for Kaya by Wren’s Nest.  It is a free group gift and the group is temporarily free to join.  Her shapes are really nice.

This awesome Santa style jacket is from Gabriel and you can get it for men and women both at their store for only 50L.  It’s super warm for snowball fights too!  For women this fits Maitreya and Legacy.  It does come with the option of a shirt underneath too.

I am absolutely enamored with my fluffy boots, they are from Gild at The Arcade.  They have all the colors you can wish for of fur boots and the machine is 50L a play.  They have them for both men and women.

Finally, my hair and hat is a Fifty Lindens Friday pick from Wasabi, I just checked and she still has it up, but not sure how long it will be up for!

Chilling

The dazzle & sparkles of the holiday season are beautiful.  All of the party clothes are gorgeous and such fun to wear. The gifts are plentiful and mostly free; you’ll definitely find something you like.

I have more Shop & Hop goodies to show you today. After all that shopping and looking fab I needed a bit of down time. I think I still look quite fab, snuggly and cozy in this free sweater and free pants.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Hey gang,

As promised I am back with more wonderful finds for your holidays!  Honestly, you need a list everyday to remember which places to check for advents, next ups, new events!  It’s enough to make a girl swoon with delight!

That Crazy Shop & Hop!

Here is another favorite find from Shop & Hop (which opens today, yay!  If you can’t get in, don’t you fret none!  It is open for a while, and it will be easier to get in after a couple of initial days), this time from Les Sucreries de Fairy… Sweater dress, wonderful leggings and fabulous hat (I love me some leggings and a floppy hat!).  This is a free gift at the Winter Shop & Hop (No group required!), amongst many goodies you can scoop up while you are there.  This outfit fits Maitreya Lara only.  But I bet the hat fits anyone!

Time to Sparkle & Shine!

it’s that time again, time for another Shop & Hop (and our inventory can burst a few more seams, eh?).  I got a sneak peek today and oh the wonders you will find when you go there tomorrow!  I’ve got a couple of goodies to show you that I found.

I was going to take over the world but I got distracted by something sparkly.

We Fab Free Girls simply cannot say no to sparkly stuff.  The grid seems just loaded with sparkly stuff lately and I’m just loving it!  Now on to my Shop & Hop Winter Sparkles.

Winter Weather

Hello Fab Free! I hope all who celebrate have enjoyed their Holidays. I’ve been away visiting family, and though I did have a great time I am so very glad to be back. It has been such a mild winter in my part of the world thus far, I often find myself wishing for some more winter-like weather. Thank goodness for Second Life. Here I can get a snowy fix any time I want it, and not have to dig my sweaters out of storage. This cute sweater dress and the cozy winter scarf are both free gifts at the Winter Shop & Hop event. Vanilla Bae

You’ve gotta love freebies from Vanilla Bae. This one is a cute blue, green, or red (there’s a hud for the color choices) gradient sweater dress with some fun features. It comes in three versions, each in a few sizes. There is a PG, Adult, and a Shoulder Off version of this dress. Each of those labels refers to the “stripability” (yes I made that word up) of the dress. The PG version is the one with no stripping options. The Shoulder Off version is just what it sounds like. It allows you to wear the dress with one shoulder, or both shoulders exposed. The Adult version is also pretty self explanatory. I’ll let you explore those options yourselves.
