A Baywatch Moment

Today I’m getting some type of Baywatch vibes going on here.  I know I’m completely off, but the red bathing suit is totally giving me those mid 90’s feels.  I may just start running in slow motion if I’m not careful.  Though that might mess up my ice cream situation, so I’m staying put for now!

A Break from Beaudelaire

I’m feeling a bit collegiate today.  Perhaps the changing leaves are bringing me back to days spent in the quad with piles of books and a mug of Earl Grey tea, the library not too far off as I delved into tomes of Beaudelaire and Dante.  I think that this precise moment is the one where you have had just about enough of deciphering the depths of literature, and you just need to let go for a little while.  I think that moment came pretty often for me!

500 is an Excellent Sum

Blueberry are at it again!  This time, they’re showering their group members with 500L in store credit.  How nice is that?  You can use it to buy anything you like in the store, and the entire store is 50% off until the 14th.  I picked up the Blessed jacket, skirt and top which were just 125L each, leaving me a bit of coin left over for something else.  You can get your own store credit by joining the Blueberry group for 20L, then peeking in group notices.  Once you add the HUD and click, the store credit will be added to your account and you can buy what you like in store.   Yay!

Hello, Fab Free!  Over at the Free Dove sim, there is a hunt going on that features prizes from three designers.  Each sponsor has hidden 5 gifts throughout Free Dove and 5 at their own main stores, so with a small investment of time and a bit of sleuthing, you could come away with 30 additions to your SL wardrobe.  Now that’s a major win in my book!

A Trio For You

Hello Fabulouses and Happy Tuesday!  Ripley and I are popping in quickly to share a pretty spring frock with you that I picked up as a free group gift.  I hope you like it as much as I do!

It’s Really One of Three

This cream colored dress is the April gift for members of the Meva Update Group, but it’s just *part* of it.  Tucked inside the package are two other versions, so you get not one, but three dresses.  The sleeveless design, high neckline and scooped back make the Meva Flowers Dress 2 suitable for many occasions from casual to more dressy.   It all depends on how you choose to accessorize.  The fabric features delicate white blossoms scattered across a pale peach background, which creates a lovely design.  If this print is not up your alley, there is also a similar pattern scattered over a darker gray background, and a version which features a bold, vibrant floral motif.  The frock is designed exclusively for the Maitreya mesh body.  To pick up a copy for yourself, simply head over to the shop, activate the Meva Update Group tag and click the vendor.  There is a 100L join fee, but membership grants you access to 9 other gifts on the wall nearby.

A Long Winter’s Dream

Hey Hey Fabberoos!  I’m in a dreamlike state since it’s all starry and snowy and January has placed its spell on me.  You know, the whole “Long Winter’s Nap” thing is taking a hold of me, but I’d rather refer to it as a long Winter’s dream.  Doesn’t that sound more lovely?

A Gem of a Find

Hello Fabulouses!  I hope you are having a super weekend.  I’ve been feeling under the weather in RL for the past few days, but I’m finally getting better.  What is it about spring colds?  With the warmer weather, I thought I was in the clear as far as viruses go, but Mother Nature proved me wrong.  Ripley has been raring to go for his regular walks, so we decided to venture further down the trail of the Grow Your Awareness Hunt.  We have two more prizes to share with you tonight.  I hope you like them as much as I do!

The Hues of the Opal…

Both of my items today can be found in the Little Black Dress shop.  The generous designer has set out not one, but two free hunt gifts for the Grow Your Awareness Hunt.  First, the gorgeous Opal Dress features a sleeveless design, v-shaped neckline, and a figure flattering cut.  A pretty midsection accentuates your waist, and then flows down into a loosely ruffled skirt, which ends at mid thigh.  I love the iridescent floral pattern scattered across the raven colored background.  On higher graphics settings, you can see a myriad of colors in the design; on lower settings, the flowers are a pale silvery gray, which is also quite lovely.  You can add this frock to your spring wardrobe for free once you locate the hunt object in the shop.

My elegant Enamel Flower Necklace is also concealed in the store.  I love the large, eye catching blossom suspended on a delicate silver chain.  The center stone can be easily customized with a few clicks of the mouse via a built in menu.  I opted for onyx, but there are 11 other selections to choose from, which makes this a versatile piece of jewelry.  I think it pairs beautifully with the Opal Dress, but I can also see myself wearing it with other outfits, too.  For just the cost of your time searching in the shop, you can scoop up a free new bauble for your collection.
