Happy Sunday, Fabulous Readers! After a super busy week in RL, it was past time for a few quiet moments spent taking it easy in SL. As Ripley cavorted on the beach at the Baja Tides sim, I plopped myself down onto an old crate perched on the sand and caught my breath. We all need times like these, and I sure hope you find some time to relax this weekend as well. There’s plenty of room on top of this box, so why don’t you join me while I tell you all about my latest hunt find?
That Easter Bunny Sure Likes to Play Tricks!
The pupster and I decided to check out the Bunny Hop Hunt that is currently taking place over on the Lucky Star sim. We had heard that the old E.B. himself had hidden a bunch of colorful eggs all containing lovely prizes throughout the sim. The price for each ranges from 0 – 25 Linden dollars. If you haven’t visited there, it’s well worth the trip because it is so beautifully decorated! Some of the eggs are easy to spot, but others will leave you scratching your head. I had seen a preview photo of the outfit I’m wearing in my picture, and *really* wanted it for myself, so I was bound and determined not to give up. After spending two nights searching high and low, I finally spotted the tiny purple egg tucked in a fiendishly difficult spot, but let me tell you, I just love, love, love this Nola Top and Shortie set from QE Designs! It features a cute plaid crop top knotted over a white bustier, and pale blue jeans shorts with a coordinating pink belt. This little number was well worth the hours spent looking high and low and the budget-friendly price of just 15 Linden dollars!

Happy Monday, Fabulouses! Ripley and I continued exploring the SL14B Community Celebration, and have three more gifties to share with you to brighten up the beginning of your week.
Time for a New Hairdo
I visited the salon in RL over the weekend, and it’s kind of funny how I followed suit in SL as well. My new hairstyle is courtesy of Mina Hair, one of my go-to hair designers. The Myrtle hair has side-swept bangs which tuck into a woven pattern in the back that I would love to duplicate in RL. I really like the way the hair leaves my shoulders bare in the front, except for just a few stray wisps. The package includes both a materials and non-materials version of the tresses, and an Essentials color pack with 9 options. Best of all, the Myrtle hair is completely free. Simply teleport to the Mina salon and click the vendor.
A Sweet Little Tank
My blue and white tank from ISON is one of my favorite fabulous finds. With delicate shoulder straps and laces in the front, this free cropped shirt is perfect for warm summer days. If blue and white stripes aren’t your style, the top includes a texture change HUD with a pretty solid olive green option, or a cheery yellow print. I opted for the more nautical-looking pattern to coordinate with my anklet (more on that in a moment). I love that the designer included three choices for this gift!

The Finishing Touch
I chose to accessorize my casual outfit with one more free present from !Rebel Hope Designs. The Starfish Beach Anklet features a golden, five-armed sea creature flanked by three glistening beads, all suspended from a silver chain. It can sometimes be hard to get anklets to fit properly depending on the style of foot you are wearing, but there is an unrigged, resizable anklet tucked inside the gift box, as well as versions for high and flat Belleza, Maitreya and Slink flat feet. All I had to do was add the jewelry to my avatar, and it fit my Slink flat foot perfectly with no adjusting necessary.
I hope you find the time to visit the SL14B Shopping event. There are so many bargains and wonderful gifts just awaiting discovery. It was busy, and I needed to devote time to explore, but came away so happy with the gifts I received and purchases I made. The event runs until June 26th. Until my next post, happy shopping!
I have been digging in the garden and weed pulling for a week! While it’s shaping up, I am covered in scratches from rose thorns and my nails are a mess. I think it’s time to set myself at anchor for a day and recover the state of my manicure.

The new group gift at Echo was just what I needed for a relaxing, lay in the sun day like today. This sweet anchor printed halter top features a summery draped open back which gives it a real breezy feel. This group is currently 25L to join (it will soon go up to 75L), but I gather from all of the empty frames in the VIP section that she will be adding more group gifts!
Good evening Fabulous Readers! Tomorrow it’s back to the old grind again, but for now, I can enjoy the last couple hours of my long weekend off with some peace, quiet… and fabulous free stuff! The family has dispersed, the house is quiet, chocolate wrappers are all over the place, and my pants are feeling tight -.-.

BlackRose has a really nice April group gift set out for their inworld group members (free to join!!) that includes the Olive Bell Pants & Tied Shirt as shown on my avatar. Whatever body type you are in, whether it’s mesh or system, I’m sure there is a size included for you as the folder is packed with different sizes (even leg lengths for the pants), and alpha layers too just in case. This set fits my Maitreya Lara Mesh Body like a glove, and I imagine the other fits are just as well made.

OoOo! I was excited to see the new subscribo gift at {ViVi} because I was itching to do a casual inbetweason (the season in between of course) outfit! You know.. those days when you are not sure if you can get away with sandals or if you need a sweater? 🙂
{ViVi} Subscribomatic members can pick up the Debbie Cardigan Sweater that comes with the undershirt or without for FREE in brown, which is most excellent for this time of year. I have paired it up with some of my fave jeans from my inventory ([AUX] Belted Flairs) and some sandals (Essenz Tampa), but you could wear it with a skirt or some classier pants if you wanted.
I also wanted to point out my new Ploom Mystic V2 hair, because it was just 75L per play at The Fantasy Gacha which I thought was a super price for such a sweet hairstyle that comes with the curly hairbase too! I have no idea how I got so lucky, but I managed to get the blonde pack that I was after in the first try! I should go pick up a lotto ticket!

This has been an extremely difficult post for me to write. In fact, it has taken me all week to finish it! The reason is because this will be my last post for FabFree… at least for a while. Some RL opportunities presented themselves to me a couple months ago, and I decided that the time was right for me to pursue them. Unfortunately, this means I will no longer be able to keep up with the busy FabFree blogging schedule. 😦 But who knows… I may turn up in a guest post once in a while. And I may be back if/when RL settles down. What I know for certain is that I will really miss this fabulous group of bloggers, and I will truly miss all of you wonderful readers.
Ok, enough mush. I wanted to leave you with a special post, so here goes! 🙂 My pretty, green dress is the latest subscriber gift from DaneMarkZ. I really like the texture and the summery “feel” to it. And this gorgeous ponytail hair is the latest group gift from LeLutka. You get a huge fatpack of colors, so you’re sure to find one you like!
This creamy skin is Glam Affair’s Livy in the Arctic 05 flavor. You can try your luck to win her for 100L at The Arcade Gacha. My pretty jewelry is a group gift from Baby Monkey, and includes the earrings, necklace, and ring, as well as a HUD with 9 different textures. The applier for my nails is a subscriber gift from {Wicked} Peach, and it includes 6 textures for fingers and toes.
N-Core Design recently put out these gorgeous shoes as a group gift. The heel is texture-change, and of course, you can change your pedicure. N-Core shoes come with their own feet, but the skin matching system is pretty awesome. I had no trouble at all matching to my pale Glam Affair skin, although I did have to play with the sizing a teensy bit. The water fountain in the background is a group gift from [we’re CLOSED], and my cute Frenchie pup can be found in a gacha at The Chapter Four (Love showed the cream-colored pup, as well as the Dandelion and Bumblebee Fairies here).
A few decor items of note… the burger and lemonade meal is a group gift from ISPACHI. You must join the Love to Decorate group to get it (sign is next to the gift). The table, chair, and wall art are a group gift from *ionic*. Both groups are free to join, and there are other gifts for you to snap up while you are in the stores. Just a quick, 11th hour Valentine’s Day HELLO to you fabulous readers! I’m falling asleep at the keyboard, so I want to finish up before my head hits the keys, and you see a bunch of gibberish, LOL! I’m always thrilled when designers give group gifts for redheads, and these gorgeous skins are the Valentine’s Day gift from Glam Affair. I love them both, especially the freckled ginger on the left. 🙂 My necklace and earrings (which are hiding in my hair) are on sale for 10L at Baby Monkey; 4 metal colors are included in a HUD. This pretty charm bracelet is a group gift from Hudson’s Clothing Co., and my sweet, deer ring is a group gift from Fabuleux. So much cuteness!
