Fun at the FLF Birthday Bash!

Aline and Allison have been covering the Fifty Linden Fridays Birthday Bash extensively this month! I am showing you a few things from my top three designer booths I found at the event that I absolutely LOVED. I am featuring free and 50L finds from Jian, Lybra, and Wasabi from the FLF Birthday Bash today.

Jian

First off, let’s talk about all the awesome items available from Jian for this event! They deserve an award for the cutest animal-themed items at the FLF Birthday Bash.

• The cute kittens crawling up my legs are the free gift. Simply join the free Fifty Linden Fridays group to get these! You can click them to change the breed/look of the cats under the textures menu. I picked these two breeds, and I thought they were so cute together. Wearing these little guys has resulted in me getting some interesting comments from strangers… I love them! The free gift also includes a cat that sleeps on your head.
• Secondly, let’s talk about the kitten purse. It’s a bag shaped like a banana with an adorable kitten inside it! Honestly, how can you resist? You get a full fatpack for only 50L at the event. It includes wearable bags with kittens in them for your right and left shoulders, as well as rezzable versions of the kitties in the banana purse and rezzable versions of the bag without a cat in it. They are precious and cute, truly. ❤

Lybra

Lybra has some awesome offerings at the FLF Birthday Bash. They are selling 4 mini-packs of shoes for only 50L per pack. I have been loving the shoe designs Lybra has been releasing. They are very detailed and unique, and on sale for an excellent price too! I am wearing one of the 50L mini-packs right now, called the “Morgan” shoes. Each 50L mini-pack includes a colour hud of white, black, pink and red colours. You can colour the top and bottom of this pair of shoes to different colours, and the pack includes 3 metal options for the heart pendant connected to the laces.

Wasabi

I am also wearing another 50L sale item from Wasabi. This was a past sale item I believe, so check if you have it already. I had missed it in the past, so I picked it up this time around! I love when I get a second chance. 😉 This hairstyle is called “Sunday”. It’s a style of braided pigtails, so what’s not to love? The 50L deal includes a full “absolute” pack of hair with 3 extensive colour huds, and there is a styling hud included as well. You can turn the accessories (the hair clips) on or off.

Time for Chillin’

Whew! It’s way too hot outside. In fact, most of the US is in the middle of a heat wave. And it’s not the Martha & The Vandellas type. Oh no! It’s more like fry eggs on the sidewalk hot. Being able to sit in an air conditioned space and retreat to Second Life is a blessing. I need beach time with ocean breezes, a bikini, and cool water to float in.

Luckily the July group gift from MOoh! is this perfect bikini for my beach time. The Hannah Bikini comes as a fat pack for group members. The Hair!!

When I’m in the mood to buy a new style I always check out the Seraphim SL Outlet Infinity Event offerings. Ha! I’m always in the mood for that. You’ll find hairstyles that are usually discounted by at least 50%. The latest one to catch my eye was Mersia by Wasabi ($125L). Styled with a braided ponytail and bangs it comes with a styling hud to change up the look. It’s a fantastic style for the beach don’t you think? You can also change the accessory ties.  It may not be under 75L, but it’s a great deal to check out.

Pretty Lips Muak!

Featured by Aline in Fabulous Finds my stunning lipstick was offered as a dollarbie at the Holloway Beauty Store. It was no longer available there when I checked earlier today. Have no fear, I found on the marketplace for the same price. The applier gives you the choice of a red, a blue, and a red, white, & blue (USA) option. Oh lest I forget to mention – the lipstick sparkles! So very cool.

A Little Dove

Hello Fab Free! I’m glad you’re here. Recently I decided to wander through The Free Dove. I feel like you never know what you might find. Sure enough I found this cute summer outfit by Fatal Fashion that is either new, or I’d probably just overlooked before. It comes with a mesh top, applier shorts, jewelry, sunglasses, and shoes (not worn).

Happy Friday Fab Free’rs! Did you know that Sn@tch has a new 7Seas Fishing outfit out? I got notice of this gorgeous set the other day and had to try my luck. The skirt alone was enough to grab my attention. However, I have to say I am very much impressed with the way the skirt and the sweater both look on. All the pieces to this very gypsy boho style look are lovey really, even though I chose to show just the skirt and sweater in my photo. First, if you have never been fishing with the 7Seas Fishing rod before I’ll give you a quick rundown.

How to go 7Seas Fishing

If this is your first time fishing, I suggest getting a “casual” fishing rod. You can purchase a casual rod at the 7Seas fishing kiosk near the Sn@tch entrance. There are other rod options, but I only use a casual rod. The casual rod will cost you a one time purchase price of 100 linden. Once you have your rod you can use it forever to fish at any participating 7Seas Fishing area. Now you’re ready to go fish for this outfit!

Moonchild

This “Fish for This” outfit from Sn@tch has several pieces. You can score a complete head-to-toe look. You’ll end up reeling in individual pieces of the outfit one at a time. Items like the skirt and top which come in several sizes will be pulled in by color so all size options are included. When I said several pieces are up for grabs, I meant it. There are 24 pieces total including hair, jewelry, and shoes! There are also system layers for classic avatars.
