Draped in Velvet

Are you guys fans of Seinfeld at all? I might call myself a rather giant Seinfeld fan. It’s one of those shows that never failed to make me laugh (out loud even!) and the situations always related back to life in so many amusing ways. Now I’m sure you’re asking yourself why I’m thinking of Seinfeld when I’m clearly heading out for a night on the town dressed in head to toe pink. Well, the fact that my dress is made of crushed velvet just had me thinking “I’d drape myself in velvet if it were socially acceptable!”. Well, apparently now it is.

Hunting Hearts

As promised, I’m back this evening to talk about the sweet little Valentines Day Hunt going on over at Poeme! If you know me, you know I love Poeme’s shop and the owner/designer, Elysiane Sapphire, is an absolute delight. She has very generously offered the Hunt prizes in a “Transferable” form so you can gift your sweetheart if you so desire. If that isn’t enough, she has also added a day to the Hunt to make sure we all have time to pick up these Valentines Day goodies.

I picked out the “Ruffle Me Up” dress in scarlet to show off as well as the “Love Me Red Choker” and the “Burning Love Tote”. But I picked up quite a few more things in the Hunt. Because you can never have too many plaid boots! Besides with everything only 15L this is one event that won’t wreck your pocketbook.

The Hunt now runs until February 15th so get over there and Hunt down some hearts!

Oh February… with your hearts and candy holiday and a new rush of Hunts for me to … um, hunt! I swear I had twenty tabs open on the computer trying to plan out where I wanted to go first. I basically just had to pick one and run with it.
