An Unexpected Surprise – Unisex Goodies!

Hey Gang!

It’s that time of year once again, when there are hearts and cupids all around and the world is blissfully pink (ok and red, black, white, purple…)!  Now, Valentine’s Day has not notoriously been my best holiday (I got dumped once, when I was 20, on Valentines Day.) but nowadays, the abundance of so many things pink makes me like it so much more!

It’s also the time of the year for another Shop & Hop.  Squee!  I actually got a late start with it and haven’t gone through everything yet, but I’ve got a couple of things for you to whet your appetite a bit.

As they say on Big Brother…. “But first”, I have a little something for you from Astralia.  If you are one of their Very Important Unicorns, this super cute boba tea bear is the new free group gift.  You have a choice of several sayings, the one I chose made me giggle so it was a keeper.  The Astralia group is 149L to join.  This came in very handy while I was running around Shop & Hop at top speed.  I got very thirsty!

I often hear the phrase “Hopeless Romantic” and this time of year, when we are nearing Valentine’s Day I would rather think of myself and others as “Hopeful Romantics.” The world needs romance. Recently those in the BYRNE Style put out yet another gorgeous group gift, this time at their new in-world store! I know you’ve all “heard” me go on about my love for lingerie, well for me the favorite of the favorites is a beautiful corset. This mesh corset from BYRNE is definitely a new favorite of mine. It’s fully mesh and comes in standard sizes with an alpha. This FREE gift is one you won’t want to miss. The BYRNE Style group is currently FREE to join, and the gift will only be available through the end of the day February 15th. ** My Apologies Dear Readers, I misunderstood, the corset was available until the 15th not through the 15th, again my sincere apologies. 

Being a late ’80s – early ’90s kid, I harbor a special love for goth, punk, and grunge styles. Though this corset is certainly pretty enough to glam up, or even stand alone, I went with something a little more wild. I hope you like it. First I picked out these fishnet-like tights by Face2face for FREE on the Marketplace. The tights are actually part of a bodysuit set, and they include system layers only. After all, whether goth, punk, or grunge, fishnet stockings are a wardrobe must-have!

Next I also found this little plaid skirt on the Marketplace for $1 linden. The skirt is mesh, and also includes a matching belt, which isn’t shown. Even though mixing patterns is at times a fashion no no, I think in this instance it’s just perfect. Not to mention the fact that again, red plaid skirt totally fits this “goth-punk-grunge” combo I’ve been striving for! hahaha

To top it all off, I added in some pretty bronze lipstick from Pink Acid which is part of their FREE Jack or Jill Hunt gift I showed previously here, and some slick red nail polish from Nail Me!. This nail polish comes in a sweet set with 8 high gloss shades of red and appliers for Slink toes, Sling fingernails, and an Omega HUD. The “High Gloss Reds” set is a new $25 linden special at the Nail Me! main location. Last but not least, I wore this recent group gift hair from Soonsiki, previously shown by Love here. The color  and style are just to perfect!

OMG I have sooo very many adorable things to show you from a “new-to-me” shop called Sugar Button Boutique. So many cute things in fact that I can’t fit it into one post! Just consider this the first installment of tons of adorable freebies.
