Of Fairies, Ladies, and Crypts

The spirits of ladies on lakes and fairies wander freely… the moon shines and though you know you should be afraid… you can’t help but feel enchanted instead. And it all begins with a few pumpkins left out for the picking by the Fantasy Creator’s Showcase Event at the Rising Phoenix Sim…

And the Creator’s Showcase Hunt got this idea just right with their fantastic gifts. There are 13 pumpkins hidden on the sim — actually they are all out in plain sight. Some of the stores have one pumpkin at their stalls. A few of them have two. All of them are easy to see and you just buy the contents for FREE. A trick not a treat!

In the picture above Astrid is wearing the Autumn Fae costume (complete with wings) by BlueMoon Enterprises. This Creator Showcase Hunt Pumpkin Gift is FREE and includes the full outfit in all the standard mesh sizes plus the gorgeous wings you see in the picture.

I also wanted to show you this fabulous Halloween Cat Mask by Chimeric Arts & Fashion which seemed to fit the Autumn Fae Costume just perfectly. This too was another FREE Hunt Pumpkin Gift at the Creator Showcase event.

Just behind Astrid and at her feet you can see the Creator’s Show Case Hunt Gift from United InishCon *UI* called the Dirty Little Secret Log. It has great little butterflies that flit and fly above it as well as a terrific animation when you sit on it. Your avatar will look from side to side before crawling inside to hide in the log! Of course… this is Second Life where anything can happen — (almost) — and look! There is a fairy and the lady of the lake both! As well as another chance for me to show off some amazing Hunt Gifts.  Last but not least, I wanted to share this fabulous Creator’s Showcase Hunt gift from Old World Designs. Just like all the other gifts, it is completely FREE and well worth picking up. The Spider Infested Crypt has a resting pose for one avatar and a ‘sit’ pose for another avatar (if someone wants to sit on it while someone else is resting inside O.o) and the spiders are affected by movement.
