The Miix Event is having an anniversary round! Aline already told us about it here. Because of the anniversary, there’s a free gift at almost every booth. And there are a lot of booths. You will have to join the Hype Events group to get them, which is free to join. This round (and all of the glorious freebies therein) will last until April 20th.

I decided to take this opportunity to play one of my favorite games – “How Many Freebies Can Allison Wear At Once?”: Miix Edition. Slaying Those Dragons

St. Paddy’s is now behind us, and it’s time to shed our green threads.  I was playful tonight and wanted something fun.  My blogging sisters *MAY* have become a little possessed by the fantabulous 75L Next Up Machines at Le Poppycock poses, and I had this awesome pose set called Forboden Realms: Dragon Soul that I was DYING to try!!!!  It comes with the pose, the very big dragon, and a sword.  A SWORD!!!  Oh, I was sooooo wanting to use that sword all Camelot style.

Flower Shower!

I love me a good fashion event in SL.  I love them more when gifts or dollarbies are a part of it!!!  The TWE12VE Event is one of my favorite.  Great designers and really nice 12L dollarbies & even a freebie!!!  I picked up this adorable “Lucky” dress from Shanti just in time for St. Patty’s Day (free gift, no group required), and these adorable Origami earrings from LooLoo & The Platypus to match.  The earrings come in gold, silver, and variations of color with those metals.  For 12L, you can’t go wrong! Twe12ve is running until March 31st.

The Band is Back Together!

The Band is back together!!!  The Fab Four rock band, “The Blogger Babes,” got back the band back together in true Blues Brothers (Sisters!) style to check out this sweet new background from Something New!  Called “All Girl Band,” this fun pose set can be found at the Cheeky Wow Event for 200L. While you are there, pick up their 10L pose, “Tune My Piano.”  There are four OTHER musical poses (singles and couples with fancy musical props!!) in the stand ranging from 50L -100L.  These deals are DEFINITELY worth a road trip.  Caroline, Arielle, Juli and I had a blast playing with the poses and adding props!

St. Patty’s Party Week Begins!

It’s my favorite time of year!  St. Patty’s Week!!!  I stopped over to my favorite SL Pub, The Blarney Stone, and had a pint in this glorious dress that cost, no lie, 1L on MP from the store Your Time. The beer is always free (even if it isn’t green), too!!!  Just click on any of the stools to get your Guinness!  Who can possibly pass up a buck and beer to kick off St. Patty’s week?  If you need (and you sooooo need), you can listen to three hours of Irish drinking songs here.

The Irish LOVE a good laugh, too, so I picked up the giant lucky coin while I was on MP that poofs out more gold coins.  It was a little bit of fun, and, for 5L, I couldn’t say no.  Head over to La Purr Shop on the MP to get yours!

Celebrating the Thinking Women of SL

March 8th was International Women’s Day, and the Grid was full of lovely gifts celebrating women.  Celestina’s Weddings had this beautiful gown for group members.  I am not sure how long the gown will be available, so run QUICKLY (in heels?!) to get it.  But, if not, don’t worry, your trip won’t be wasted, as there are amazingly stunning group gifts waiting for you.

The Group cost is 50L, and the gifts are legit nice with surprises like this gown, the Solstice Pearl Gown in Pink, offered up for special occasions.
