Unicorns and Daydreams

I know we’re all starting to come to terms with the end of Gacha in Second Life, but I’m still a bit sad about it all.  I know many people aren’t too upset to see the back of gachas, but I will totally miss the opportunity to get some fun things for pretty cheap.  With that, we’re also saying goodbye to several gacha-only events, along with the fun gifts that come with them.  Le Sigh!

Say Goodbye

The Gacha Life has always been a fun event, filled with lots of awesome gachas and of course some free gifts!  This will be their last round, and you’ll find a few free gifts at each display.  I picked up this oversized sweatshirt by Love Lace.  It comes with an HUD to change to 4 different colour combinations and I just love the unicorns!  Don’t wait too long, The Gacha Life is running until August 30th.

Well, hello summer. I’m glad you’re finally here! I’ve been waiting for you all year. It’s time to stock up on some summer gear, FabFree!

I don’t usually go blonde, but it’s perfect for summer! It was time for a little hair dye. This cute hairstyle is another gift on the Peace by Peace hunt. Say Hydrotherapy

There’s a lovely spa in the city where I live.  It’s hopelessly expensive and utterly chic.  People walk around swathed in plush white bathrobes and matching slippers, shuffling between massages and hydrotherapy with a dazed look of bliss upon their visage.  I don’t know about you guys, but spas have been decidedly off limits in my part of the world for quite a while now, so I’m trying to replicate the magic of the giant pool at the aforementioned spa here in SL.  It’s not necessarily working as well as a dive into a cool pool followed by a calm down in the hot tub, but at least I can get the visuals!

This is the Life

The Gacha Life is in full swing right now, and as is their wont, there are a bunch of fun and free gifts for members of their free-to-join group.  While I was there, I noted that their theme is “Pool Party” so I am totally getting into the hydrotherapy groove (I just really like saying hydrotherapy…can you tell?).  I picked up the gifts from Sexy Style (which is my bikini on the left) but I was also quite taken with the more covered up bathing suit by BlondeQueen.  If I read the notecard correctly, this round is only running until June 15th, so get in there asap!

Good evenin’, FabFree. This is going to be a quick post because I have more of this beach resort to explore… maybe get my dance on. 😉  Yesterday I showed you the awesome little bikini I found at the Miix Event and today I was off to another event. This time it’s The Gacha Life. This rounds theme is the ‘great outdoors’ and this beautiful maxi skirt certainly makes me want to wander along a beach at almost sunset. 

This is the “Karim” outfit from Sexy Style and it’s their free gift for the event. You get the lovely skirt and the sexy crocheted top both in the gift. I really love the hot pink almost fuchsia color of the top. It’s just so summery. When you join the free Gacha Life group, you can pick up this wonderful gift and all the others from almost every booth.

Camping On Hallow’s Eve

This is my last Halloween post, which I am sad about. But I had fun this year! There’s so many amazing things around the grid this year so I hope that you enjoyed all the awesome free things we showed you on Fab Free this month! More Gifts at Lovel

Thanks to this amazing post by Pru earlier this month, I was introduced to the store Lovel. In addition to the lovely blue hoodie gift featured in Pru’s post, Lovel has generously set out two additional free gifts which you can get by joining their free group. The group gifts are the Millena hoodie in black and a matching black bodysuit that can be worn under it. I chose to wear some jeans over the bodysuit (which fit snuggly) to cover up, but you could wear this sexy suit all on its own.

Parting Halloween fun…

The last two gifts I want to share are these adorable fuzzy slippers and the amazing glowing pumpkin, cross, and fence hairdo.

The cozy slippers, which come in a striped pattern in both orange and purple, are only 10 Linden at Mad Circus 6. These slippers can be found in the Ari-Pari booth at the event.

The hair is a free gift from EscalateD at Trick or Treat Lane until November 1st. To get the gifts, you just need to search each booth to find the gift bag which contains a free prize. Trick or Treat Lane is one of my favourite events of the year because it’s a mix of hunting and freebie shopping.
