Irish(ish)

The slogan “Irish(ish)” seen on my top today speaks to me. I have Northern Irish heritage, but I have never really been to Ireland and I don’t always identify with Irish culture. As my family was originally from Northern Ireland, they often act British and do a lot of British things like drink tea and eat Hob Nobs. I guess I am Irish(ish)! Anywho, I have some fun and affordable Irish-themed tees to share today, as well as free lipstick and skin, so let’s look at what I found!

My pretty skin is a group gift from Voguel. Starla originally blogged the gift here. I thought it may be worth mentioning again because the fabulous “Carly” skin is a really beautiful and detailed gift. It comes in a full fatpack of tones and it works with Velour skin tones. On a side note, I always use the free neck fix from Velour to match these types of tones to whatever body skin I am currently wearing, and it usually works really well.

Hey Fabs! Today I put together a casual look with a bit of spookiness thrown into the mix. It just goes to show that you can show off your love for all things spooky without going into full costume mode.

The Haunted Hunt @ Malus Park

Another Halloween Hunt I have to report about today is the Haunted Hunt @ Malus Park. You will find a few designers have set put hunt prizes around the Malus Park sim that each cost between 0 and 20L. I am featuring some of the prizes from Starlight Apparel in my look today, which cost 20L each. From them, I am featuring:

• Another edition of the Parris Sneakers in the “Boo” pattern, which is adorned with ghosts, pumpkins, and bats. These shoes are fitted for Belleza, Maitreya, Legacy, Star, Reborn, Kupra and Slink.
• The bone necklace, which comes in rainbow colours and black chains, is another hunt prize sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBODY Classic & Curvy, Tonic Curvy & Fine, Physique, Hourglass, Lara, and Legacy.

The last gift I have to share in my post tonight is this fabulous hairstyle from TRUTH. This is another gift from their past group gifts. Falling Leaves & Floating Pumpkins

Hello fabulous readers! Today I would like to show you some fun items that are in the Cheeky Monkey Hunt‘s “I Put a Spell On You 2” hunt this month. You can see previews of all the hunt gifts on their site HERE. As you probably suspect, the theme this month is Halloween and spooky stuffs. Let’s chat about what I’m showing…

• The Sissy Bar has this cute fall outfit out for L$1 in the hunt. It includes the leather pants and fall print cropped turtleneck. Both come in standard fitmesh sizes and the top also comes in Belleza OG, Maitreya and Slink sizes.
• These lovely floating pumpkin candles are part of a pose set from Something New as the L$25 exclusive item in the hunt. The pumpkins rotate around you slowly and the fog underneath swirls. The pose I am using is the pose that comes in the setup.

Here is a closeup of the top and also wanted to mention and show the nail polish I’m wearing. It’s not from the hunt, but rather from N.Kolour, and their nail polish sets are always such a great price! This set gives 5 colors to choose from for the design.

The 3rd designer from the Cheeky Monkey Hunt is The Bold Llama. These three graphic tanktops rae part of the hunt. The “Screamer” is a L$1 prize, the “Wednesday” is the L$25 exclusive and the “Flying Monkeys” is the L$50 exclusive. These tanks fit so many bodies! Here’s the list:

Hunting with Procrastination

Good afternoon, FabFree! I found the perfect hunt for the procrastinators out there, because it lasts not only a month… but 80 whole days! It’s been going on for a while already and there’s still time to catch up on it. I’m talking about the Around The Grid in 80 Days Hunt, run by Fun With Hunts. This hunt is perfect for me because I am always behind schedule and running late to events and hunts. I’m guessing some of you may be able to relate to the procrastination life!

I am wearing the following prizes from the hunt, and each prize costs only 1L.

• The fantastic top is the prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. Written on it is the saying, “I Love You To the Moon & Back”. I thought it was so cute. This is one of my favourite sayings because I think of a few special people in my life I love the most when I hear it. The shirt fits Lara, Legacy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Ebody Classic, Ocacin, TMP, Tonic Curvy & Fine, and Standard Sizes.
• The adorable shorts are the 1L prize from ZFG, which is one of my favourite stores of all time. These shorts are a fatpack, which includes a colour hud that allows you to change the main colour to several basic colours like black, beige, purple, red, etc. Each version of the shorts comes with a black band/lining. They are very comfy and what a great deal for only 1L! The shorts fit Erika, Freya, Kupra, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya and Reborn.
• Lastly, the ridiculously cute boots are the prize from Poeme Couture. They come in brown with a fun retro pattern on them. They are so well made and the texture is fab as always with this creative designer. These are resizable boots that you can adjust to fit any feet!

Hello there, Fab Free! With the new month, we have a bunch of hunts that got started, and I eagerly hit the trail of The Boo Bunny Hunt this week. My favorite prize of all is this adorable tank top. Jack O’Lanterns Shining Bright

Over at satus Inc., I found these Halloween Pumpkin Earrings that were the perfect accessory for my outfit as a free group gift. They come in gold, green, and red, and are sized for female and male avatars. While in the shop, I also picked up an older free group gift to round out my look – charcoal-colored Stella Leggings. Inside the folder, you’ll find sizes for classic avatars as well as mesh body types. There is a 25 Linden dollar join fee for the satus Inc. group, but with thirty-two (yes thirty-two!) other group gifts, it’s well worth the price.

Extra Goodies in the Photo

The super sweet neon popsicles behind me are from our very own Fab Free Designer, NinaX.  The red and yellow color is free in the Summer Nights Hunt (7.24 to 8.14), but the other colors are also a steal at only 15L each!  I grabbed them all, just cause I couldn’t decide!  Sooo cute!

My little yummy hand held popsicle and my little panda friend (who is sooo much enjoying his slushie!) are both from The Epiphany.  The popsicle is from Broken Arrows for a 50L pull and the Panda is from Stoic for 75L a pull.  Such a fun shoot!  I’ve got a close up below so you can get a better look at things.
