The Snowflake Experience

The Snowflake Experience opens today. There are 62 stores each with special items that donate a portion of their profits to Toys for Tots. Along the way there are little candycanes, each containing a special gift for you!

The sim is split into four seperate areas, each with a little theme and there are some strewn around the main landing area too. I have split the hunt items down into these areas to try to make it easier for you to know where to look. There are some items that I havent found so you will no doubt find more… and I am sorry if I get a little mixed up with some items being in other areas, but I tried to make it as simple as possible for you, so forgive me a few probable mistakes as I have been the queen of mistakes recently with SLURLS.

The Platinum Hunt (pt 1)

Starting today and running until 31st August is the Platinum Hunt. One hundred of the best stores in SL, hand picked to create one of the most antisipated hunts of the year. Organised by Keira Seerose and the people who bought you The Summer of Love Event, they have been meticulous in picking some of the best that SL has to offer from both old names and up and coming rising stars.

You are searching for a little box with a pearl inside, almost like an open ring box. Each prize costs 10L. Yes it isnt a free hunt, but for 10L each prize you are getting a steal for the quality of prizes on offer. This is by no means a complete selection and I do urge you to do the hunt which starts at ISPATCHI.

The notecard handed out from the poster says that “Brands have been asked to hide their items at a mid range level of difficulty. They probably won’t be in plain sight, however we have asked designers to keep items within a 40m radius of their stores landing point AND if their store is more than one storey their item will be hidden on the level you land on also. So no stairs and no day long searches, we promise” so that should ease some of your hunting troubles.

The brown short hair worn in some of the pictures is the hunt item from Exile which comes in a fatpack of colours. The blond hair worn in other pictures is the hunt item from Magika which also comes in a fatpack of colours.

The skin worn in all the pictures is one of the skins in the hunt prize from Heartsick which comes in a pack of three with cleavage and beauty mark options. The Shoes worn in most pictures are the prize by Heart & Sole.

“I’m More Fun Than a Ken Doll“. At least that’s what my shirt from T Junction says. You can get this shirt as part of the No Strings Attached Hunt. The Very Berry Freckles Male Skin is the hunt gift from Wretched Dollies. I grabbed my WoE Kole Jeans that you can get at the FabFree HeadQuarters.

If you turn my Zydrate Gun Doll Key I may never stop. This is the hunt find at Sakura’s Originals.

The Attack of the Bat Wagon is a fun gift from Dilly Dolls. Just wear it (don’t rez it or you might get a nasty notice from your landlord that you just exceeded the prim limit) and watch yourself writhe in terror as the bats hover around you.

No Strings Attached to THIS Dollie!

It’s time to get out of your box and discover some great finds in the No Strings Attached Hunt.  This grid wide Dollie Hunt began today and will last all month long.  The hunt has 50 stores participating.  You will find the list of participating stores and hunt locations on the official blog http://trinsfilthythings.blogspot.com/.  Now how about a look at some of these goodies!

The Pink Clara dress is from LIKKA*HOUSE.  The eyes are from Rozena Skin and come in black dye, french pink, green oxygen, and smoothy blue.  This Dolli hair is from Battle Angel and has 7 different colors to choose from.  The pale Jana skin is from Cryptic Dolls and is the perfect skin for any dolly!

At Dirty Dollies the prize is a pink jumper skirt set and matching rag doll!

The black and white Carny outfit is from Distorted Dreams.  This gift includes the adorable little hat and matching boots!

Gothic Passionate Dreams has a red and black dress for all the Bratt Dollies out there!

Dark Water Design has the dark purple dress, headband, and tiered heart doll key in the No Strings Attached Hunt gift.

The hunt gift from Grim Bros. has the little green doll dress which includes two skirt lengths.  The Smashed Lauren skin, Bleeder Rotten eyes, Bunned hair, and Dolli-fied Shape (not shown) is in the gift from F’d up.

There is an very cute pink dollie dress at The Dollhouse.  The Glitters Roseberry skin from Magic Burst includes a chute shape (not shown) and Glitter Rose Dolly Key.

The orange dress is from Broken Doll.  I accessories with a platinum and fire Starburst Antique brooch from Amaranthus and Flower Drop earrings from Star Kindler Designs.

I picked up the black Swirly Dolly dress from A Netherworld.  The pink Extra Scoop dress is from Flirt Boutique.  The black I Remember ribbons on my wrists are in the hunt gift at Sakura’s Originals.  The Sakura’s Originals gift also includes a Heart Doll key for the women and a Zydrate Gun key for the men.  The Very Berry Freckles skin is in the No Strings Attached gift at Wretched Dollies.  There is a male skin in this gift as well!

There is a Voodoo Doll t-shirt at T Junction.  The hunt gift also includes a really cute t-shirt for the men, which I sent Carson after.  The tasty Little Megan Dolls are from the No Strings Attached hunt gift at Dead Bunny.

There are several dolls in the No Strings Attached Hunt.  The Marion Raven Hair doll is from Nightshade, the VooDoo doll is from K&G Designs, and that’s me in the Lonelymare Avatar from PinkMares House!

You know I love to show you bargains aswell as the freebies in SL and so I have a little bunch of goodies for you on this balmy Saturday morning.. some free some below 100L (with the exception of one group fee)…

The TULI Mainstore has a set of freebie eyes avilable right now which you can find in a little gift box just inside the store.. If you are a member of the VIP group you can get your hands on an exclusive preview of a new skin tone that Tuli has been working on called Tanya which is in another little gift box just beside the Eyes. The eyes worn in these pictures are called Emerald and are in the freebie pack.

Heartsick are taking part in Super Bargain Saturday where a group of designers place items out for 60L for 24 hours.. and this time they are previewing a new darker skin tone aswell as some little changes to the skins

I must say I love the new cleavage.. but then you know me and cleavage *whistles innocently* The bikini worn in the pictures above is from T-Junction and is their prize in the Fashion is Love hunt which starts at LP Design

I ended up paying a visit to LP Design to start the hunt but ended up getting called away so I only managed to find the TWO gifts there (yes there are two be sure to find them both!)

And happily the dresses feed my ever increasing pink addiction.

At the Le Cirque event, you can find this Hula Hoop set of poses for 10L from Estetica’s stall! I couldnt resist, always loved Hula Hoops as a child. Im showing two of the poses, and you get the hoop too for each pose.

Glam Affair are at the Zombie Popcorn Festival and have this fab spooky skin out as their free gift. The Lace Overlay lingerie is by OoEas! and costs 95L

After all… thats what relationships are about right? Or am I just getting cynical in all my Valentines Day bah humbugness. Either way.. here are some more Valentines themed goodies for your enjoyment.
