Summer dresses are a staple in my wardrobe. The issue I have is that sometimes I can’t decide which one to wear, and I have to start trying a bunch on until I find the perfect one for the occasion. Today, I’m having an existential crisis: Do I want to be prim and cute, or do I want to knock everyone’s socks off in a sheer, flirty number? Ah, the difficulties one faces.
Time to Hunt
Safira is hosting one of their epic hunts, where every item hidden is just 15L. You’ll find the items hidden inside little crabs around the store, and you to get them, you need only search then buy. Easy! I settled on the Claire and Alice dresses which were both too pretty to pass up. There are a whole bunch of other great prizes which you’ll see below (all the sizing info is in the photo as well). Don’t wait too long to visit, this hunt is only running until August 25th.

There’s something to be said about indecisiveness when it comes to clothing. I couldn’t decide what to put on today, mostly because I’m clearly spoiled for choice. Belle Epoque is hosting a hunt! And….ugh…it’s sooooooooooo pretty!
Three for One
I love when a store decided to put on a hunt absolutely crammed to the gills with goodies. That’s exactly what’s happening at Belle Epoque right now with their Summer Hunt. Each item is just 10L, and it’s really fun to kind of mix and match and put looks together. I grabbed numbers 6, 14 and 30 at just 10L each, and I had a blast making my looks. This hunt is running until August 31st, so you have plenty of time to visit, grab some fun things (look for the little kitties) and then come back again later for more. ACK! You guys! One week left of summer? Where did it all go? I’m going to stretch out this season as long as I can, because in Canada… let me tell you – it’s a short one! In my beachy look today, I am wearing a lucky board prize and a hunt prize that I’ll tell you all about below.
Starting with the hair…

There are several stores on the Safira Sim that are participating in a 15L Summer Hunt! Posie is one of the participating stores and is offering six really sweet items as shown in the vendor ad below. My favourite of the bunch is #5 which is the Ayira Crop Top in a summery shade of coral. I picked them all up… because SO CUTE! This hunt runs until September 8th, so you have plenty of time, but I bet you rush right over!
As a teen I had day-dreams of one day becoming a runway model. I didn’t want fame. I just wanted to stomp down that runway wearing something awesome with fierce hair and makeup! This ensemble is exactly the sort of look I imagined wearing. Lucky for us, the look and feel of this fierce fashion can be had without a fierce price tag.

You’ll have to check out the photo below to get a better look at these other-worldly eyes Pru has in. They are a dollarbie by Pulcino at the Okinawa Summer Festival. The eyes come in system layers, and include mesh attachments. There is also a green version included with the “blue” version shown. While you’re at the Pulcino booth at the Okinawa Summer Festival, check out the manicure Pru is wearing. You can get it for just 45 lindens for the duration of the festival. I like the metallic look with the vibrant color and tiny anchor detail. I love nautical themed items for summer! Don’t wait on this one, the Okinawa Summer Festival ends July 23rd.
Now I know you’re curious about this fierce eye-makeup. This masked look is courtesy of SlackGirl. Called “Imperia” the eye-shadow set is the current FREE group gift at SlackGirl. To go with the dress from More Than Ever, I picked up the current FREE group gift at Finesmith. The most recent group gift at Finesmith is this gorgeous gold bracelet in a honeycomb design with a detailed honey bee accent. I thought the bracelet went perfectly with the gold belt that is part of the dress. The Finesmith group is FREE to join, and there are several previous group gifts still available.
Completing the outfit are these unique heels from EB Atelier. Also a FREE group gift, these gold and black heels are meant for Slink High feet. Hello and happy Friday, my FabFree Dears! I’m getting ready for the weekend by going completely casual! Well… I’m getting ready for a casual weekend in SL… in RL not so much….
ANY way… let’s start at the bottom and work our way up. I started my casual Friday with these cute shorts from WallFlower. The ‘Daisy Denim’ shorts are part of the Beached Bunny Hunt and are a great 1L prize. Nice and versital. They come in system layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Maitreya and Omega. It’s always good to see well done system layer items! On top, I have a cute lace side tie top from ‘New to me’ designer: Lowkey Shawty. The Knotted top is a dollarbie on Lowkey’s Marketplace page but there are many cute things in the main store too.
On top.. too or would that be two…. I have another fab design from our own FabFree Designer, More than Ever! The Blue Tie Dye tee is part of the Summer Hunt 2015 on the Flawless Sim. Each of the prizes is between 10 and 15L which sounds like a lot till you see the prizes. There are kiosks set up on the corners of the Sim displaying all the prizes from the shops so you can pick which prizes you want to hunt for. And trust me… you will want a bunch of them!
