Let Your Fingers Do the Walking

Going through the SL19B sims reminds of me of an old commercial for the Yellow pages phonebook. In the early 1960s an artist came up with the now famous slogan – “Let your fingers do the walking through the Yellow Pages” for the New England Telephone which was eventually bought out by AT&T. (btw, it’s an American thing as far as I know).

Okay, where was I going with this bit of trivia?? Oh yeah! Walking through SL19B is like walking through the yellow pages. I don’t know how your avatar moves but mine moves with me using 2 fingers to “walk”. Quit blathering and get on with it Cre!

Lovely Sparkles

Don’t you love it when you pick up free gifts, open them and find a few treasures? I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked the SL19B gift from Son!a Edge. What a beautiful, well-crafted dress! The details and textures knocked me out of my socks. Petra comes in this pleasing shade accented with shiny sequins and gorgeous flowers.

Peau Neuve (aka New Skin)

Thanks to the WoW non-group Lucky Boards I’m sporting a new skin. When a “C” popped up on one of the boards I slapped it and got 2 shades of the Sugar BOM skin. I’m wearing the bronze version today. Time to Sparkle & Shine!

Hey gang,

it’s that time again, time for another Shop & Hop (and our inventory can burst a few more seams, eh?).  I got a sneak peek today and oh the wonders you will find when you go there tomorrow!  I’ve got a couple of goodies to show you that I found.

I was going to take over the world but I got distracted by something sparkly.

We Fab Free Girls simply cannot say no to sparkly stuff.  The grid seems just loaded with sparkly stuff lately and I’m just loving it!  Now on to my Shop & Hop Winter Sparkles.

Sparkle and Shine!

Hey fab gang!

I’ve got one more for you from Shop & Hop Valentine’s edition, mainly because I couldn’t resist sharing with you this absolutely *stunning* gown from Son!a-Edge.  I truly feel like royalty when I wear this, sort of an ethereal kind of queen!  This dress literally reflects the light and has some magic of it’s own that gives it a sort of iridescent glimmer (I won’t spoil those little extras here for you, you will have to go get one of your own!  But I will spill the beans and say it comes with a materials HUD!)  The photo above is straight out of sl, no filters (just some film grain, and a crop!) at all, so this is seeing the dress do it’s own thing!  Here’s another photo, closer up so you can see some of the details:

Again, you can see the sun reflecting on the right hand side of the dress.  well, sl sun, you know.  lol  And you do have to have your graphics set to advanced lighting, but so well worth it.  Stunning stunning stunning!!  Again, only film grain and cropping for this pic, no filters, nothing fancy done by me.  The dress stands for itself!
