As Free As A Bird

Valentine’s Day is over so that mean’s it’s spring, right? Close enough for me. I went exploring to look for someplace beautiful and natural and boy did I find it. It looks like a background behind me but you’ve just gotta go see it, it’s a stunningly gorgeous view. There’s a landmark down in my credits so you can go have a look for yourself. I am awed over and over again by the amazing things and places that people create.

Spring Flowers

Most of my springy mood is certainly thanks to this sweet dress that I’m wearing. I picked it out myself at Brillancia and got it for free! Here’s the scoop – Brillancia is giving away a 350L gift card right now for free for group members AND the group is free to join. I could have sworn that this was a paid group but I don’t see a notice saying anything about a temporary free group join. Regardless, this is definitely a group you want to get in for free while you’ve got the chance just in case it goes back up. There was, however, a group notice about the free gift cards – yup, gift cards plural. For two weeks only group members can get a free 350L gift card from Brillancia and also a free 350L giftcard from So Pink. Both stores are right there in the same build for your shopping convenience. I was wearing my Brillancia group tag and was able to get both gift cards with it activated. By my calculations you have until February 26th to get the free cards but I wouldn’t waste any time if I was you.

Silver Linings

The pretty high braided hairstyle that I’m wearing is a free group gift from Fabia. There is a notice confirming that the store is closed and that it won’t be re-opening anytime soon. Sad news, but made bittersweet by the mention of group gifts…yes again, gifts plural. So far it’s just this style that I’m wearing but maybe there will be more? Gotta stay in the group to find out and even if not, just this one is amazingly generous and worth having. The Fabia group is currently free to join and you’ll find this free hairstyle in group notices. It comes in all the blondes and with some nice styling options too.

Lost In This Moment

Good evening, FabFree! I am definitely not trying to turn this into an episode of “Who Wore It Best? Backdrop Edition.” I know that’s a game I would lose. No, when I saw Aline’s post I had already taken and edited my picture and was too lazy to redo it. But we’re not here for the background, pretty though it may be. I have some amazing free group gifts to show you!

Palette has a gorgeous new group gift out that I am just obsessed with. How perfect is this gown? Slinky and sexy and classy, with the most amazing texturing. The Palette group is 300L to join and puts out gifts pretty regularly, with an array of past gifts available if you’re just joining. This gown alone is worth the price, it’s honestly so lovely. There is a HUD with 6 colors to choose from and sizes for:

And then there are my luxurious locks. I bought them with a free gift card from a free to join group. Got your attention? Here’s the deets. You probably know of Ayashi and Limerence, two hair stores that share a sim. Right now, there is a new free group gift in each of the two free groups – a 500L gift card each. That’s 1000L of free hair! Each store has a free group and a paid group and for the free gift cards all you need is the free groups. The gift card giver is located inside each of the respective stories, and hopefully my slurls will take you where you need to go. It’s not upstairs in the group gift area, but downstairs a room away from the entrance.

I found that Ayashi gives 50% off for group members, even for the free group, and so I was getting hairpacks there for only 145L – that’s three free hairs with the gift card! The one I’m wearing here though is from Limerence and quite fetching, don’t you think? It was also completely free with my gift card.

Raindrops On Roses

Hey Fabulous Readers! Remember that 150L group instore credit I sent you to pick up a few weeks ago at Mooh! [HERE]?  I mentioned that you could join their inworld group for 100L and pick up an instore credit of 150L which has been dispensed to group members monthly for the past few months (plus a group gift and enter a raffle!)…
