FabFree Designer Features: Shapes for Everyone

Hey FabFree! In today’s FabFree Designer Features post, we are hopping over to Shapes for Everyone. Shapes for Everyone is a neat shop that sells shapes for a variety of mesh bodies and mesh heads. Each shape includes a detailed style card with information about what skins to wear with each shape, two shape options for different body types, and several eyebrow shapes. You get quite a lot in each item, and these shapes will be great for new residents and others to try if you are in need of a new shape or look.

FabFree Group Gift

The current FabFree group gift at Shapes for Everyone is the Ethereal Beauty shape. This shape is designed for the Catwa Freya HD Pro head, and the shape works with Lucybody Atenea and Maitreya Lara. The gift includes a detailed style card with information on what skin to wear to optimize the look of the shape. The free gift also includes slim and plus versions, as well as 4 eyebrow shapes to wear with it.

Store Group

Shapes for Everyone also has group gifts for their VIP group members. The gifts rotate, and they are available for a limited time until they change to a new VIP gift. The current gift up for the store group is the Alondra Shape, which is a new release. It is designed to be used with the Catwa Freya HD Pro head. The shape includes plus and slim version fits for the following mesh bodies: Lucybody Atenea and Maitreya Lara. It also includes a detailed style card and 4 eyebrow shapes. The Shapes for Everyone group is currently free to join, but it will likely only be free for a temporary period of time.

Other Freebie Groups’ Gifts

There is an additional free gift at Shapes for Everyone if you join another freebie group posted near their VIP group gift. Below is the information about this extra gift and the group that is offering it.

Hey Gang!

Yeah I’m starting off with a bad snow joke, and that’s snow joke!  So Jacx was talking about a snowball fight the other day in her post and I’ve decided to take her up on her offer.  I’m not sure she knows what she has gotten herself into though.  I am *very* competitive!  I also have the same set of poses from Fashiowl from Shop & Hop (free), so I am armed and ready to go too!  (I can’t throw snowballs without arms, you know!)

I’ve put together an eclectic combo of an outfit for the fight, me and cold aren’t the best of buddies (despite my Elsa obsession!), and so whatever I can throw together that keeps me warmest, gosh-darnit, that’s what I’m gonna wear when it’s cold!

Freebies, Freebies and More Freebies! (and maybe a couple of great deals for good measure!)

I’m sure most of you are familiar with the free mesh heads from Lelutka this past week, I have the *worst* luck trying to get into crowded places like that and I feel like I am always the last to grab anything that there is a big rush for.  Nonetheless, I am sporting the brand spankin’ new Kaya head which is a free group gift (free group join) from Lelutka.  (There’s one for the guys as well!)  My skin is also a freebie, it is a group gift from Koonz.  Their group is free to join.

Usually I use my own shape, but I really liked the free shape for Kaya by Wren’s Nest.  It is a free group gift and the group is temporarily free to join.  Her shapes are really nice.

This awesome Santa style jacket is from Gabriel and you can get it for men and women both at their store for only 50L.  It’s super warm for snowball fights too!  For women this fits Maitreya and Legacy.  It does come with the option of a shirt underneath too.

I am absolutely enamored with my fluffy boots, they are from Gild at The Arcade.  They have all the colors you can wish for of fur boots and the machine is 50L a play.  They have them for both men and women.

Finally, my hair and hat is a Fifty Lindens Friday pick from Wasabi, I just checked and she still has it up, but not sure how long it will be up for!

I Got A Tune-up at VC~Body~Shop

Beneath every great skin is an awesome shape, and I got this one from VC~Body~Shop! It sets the foundation to you look, and makes you stand out. A long time ago I had an argument with someone for 30 minutes, trying to prove that it wasn’t the skin they had an issue with, it was the shape. He, key operative word here, was like no its the skin there is something off about the features on the face… in asking for more details, he basically was having an issue with the shape. Yes, skin does matter, because the shape and skin compliment each other. The same skin would look different on different shapes, and we all know that the attention paid to the facial features are the most important. When someone cams on to you, they  first zoom into your face then make their way down. The only time that doesn’t happen is if it a woman and she noticed that you are wearing some extremely stylish shoes. Then she doesn’t care about what you look like, she just wants to know where you got the shoes.

Now many of you have message me to ask about the origins of my curvaliscous shape that I roam around with, and now I have answers. You can take a trip on over to VC-Body-Shop, and check out the new shapes there and pick up this promotional Jamilla shape for 10L, and that price wont stay that way for long. I definitely love the attention paid to the facial features on this shape, especially the nose. I may have a problem, I pay close attention to noses…perhaps I’m the only one that zoom into faces. (Sits for a minute and ponders my sanity)

Anywho, this is definitely worth the trip on over and if you have a friend that  is new to sl and might be facing some appearance challenges point them on over to VC~Body~Shop too.

LE.LOOK! Day 4

So we have reached Day 4 of the LE.LOOK! celebrations and with a new day comes a new revealed piece of the Male & Female avatars. Today its the top parts of the outfits to match the bottom half that was set out yesterday. The Female Turtleneck was designed by Zaara and the male V-Neck Sweater and Shirt combination was designed by WMD (Weird Monkey Design Industries)

To get them, tp to LE.LOOK!, join the LE.LOOK! group and wear your group tag to click the pictures that rez on the huge white boards. Be patient while the boards and the pictures rez. They are literally right by you in the area you teleport in. You do not need to walk very far. You cannot miss them. Simply wait for the pictures on them to rez, then click on them to recieve the items they show. Alot of people are having trouble finding the skins.. the skins are the close up picture of the face to the top left of the main full length avatar picture.

Here are the updated pictures.. you can see how the look is really coming together now!

This is the Zaara Turtleneck worn with the Source Leggings and Beauty Avatar Shorts that were yesterdays release and the Maitreya Hair from 16th and the LeLutka skin from the 15th. I am wearing my own shape and not the LE.LOOK! free shape that is also part of the package and was released on the 15th with the skin.

The shoes are my own, not part of the package.

This is the male WMD V-Neck Sweater and Shirt worn with the Male Redgrave pants that was yesterdays release and the Find ASH hair from 16th and the Belleza Thomas skin from the 15th. Nao is wearing his own shape and not the LE.LOOK! free shape that is also part of the package and was released on the 15th with the skin. The shirt parts for the Sweater are inside another box inside the package. Don’t forget to unpack that.

Le Look Day 2

Continuing Le Looks 1 year anniversary celebrations in the gradual unveiling of a free male and female complete avatar as blogged on yesterdays post, today sees the release of a male and female hair to add to the skins and shapes that were released yesterday.

To get the goodies, simply join the Le Look group, wear the group tag then TP to Le Look, walk pretty much straight ahead to where two huge boards are. There will be pictures of a male and female on these boards. As each item is released, a new picture will appear on the board for you to click. Click the items you want to recieve and then wait for delivery. YOU MUST BE WEARING GROUP TAG or else you will click and be waiting forever for nothing. Delivery can take anything from instant to 30 mins or more but please be patient. De-prim yourself of everything and remove huds for quicker delivery and to help others.

FYI… for those who didnt get in yesterday for the skin and shape – they are STILL there… so they are simply adding to the board every day and it doesnt seem that they will be removing. So don’t panic.. plenty of time to get everything!

Right… on to pictures!

The Female hair added to the board is created by Maitreya and comes with blonde and brown hair. Here I am wearing it with the skin by LeLutka that was released yesterday, but with my own shape and the underwear that was inside with the female shape by Le Look.

The Male hair added to the board is created by Find ASH and is in a warm blonde tone. Here Nao is wearing it with the skin by Belleza that was released yesterday, with his own shape and the underwear that was inside with the male shape by Le Look.

Well, that´s what the notecard says, and it sounds fantastic 🙂 20 small, golden “boxes” are hidden over the whole sim for only a week. Please, remove all attachments like AO, sexy walk, facelight and so on to reduce lag! I only managed to find 2 boxes (right click and buy for 0 Linden). You have to look high and low, inside the store and outside too, and use your cameras. I found Old America (top, pants, flexi skirt, flexi transparent skirt and hat) and Pop Flower 🙂
