Anti-Valentine

Things have been so busy in the gift world that I’m just now getting around to the Anti-Valentine’s hunt.  There are only a few days left to search for the little hearts wrapped in barbed wire.  I went to a few locations to search for it, then clicked and bought for 0L.  You can’t say no to that, now can you!  Here’s what I found:

Toes in the Sand, Macarons in the Hand

I’m back at the beach with my fave baked goods.  I seem to take a lot of photos of me randomly eating items on the beach.  Does the sea air make me virtually hungry?  I don’t know, but it’s a trend I’m not entirely mad at.

Pridemania!

Our friends over at Second Life Syndicate are hosting a great hunt and discount event called Pridemania!  I took part in the hunt (there are some fun prizes…and a few that are not exactly PG-13, just warning ya) where each prize is just 20L.  You’re looking for a silver star hidden at each shop.  I started off at Random Matter where you all know I couldn’t resist their macaron prize.  There are lots of different pride-themed versions in the box (and I do love that bento hold).  I also went over to QE Designs to pick up this very cheerful bikini, which comes in two different shades of rainbow (ha) in the HUD.  Much fun!  You can check out all the prizes right HERE.

Queen of the World

I am the queen of the penguins, the queen of the ice and snow, etc. Hell, I am the QUEEN of the WORLD! Yeah that’s the ticket!

As I hang out with the penguins in the southernmost of the world I rule I perform my greeting maneuver to welcome my subjects. My subjects are wonderful, especially those who supply Queen Creola with lovely gifts. And the best thing about being a self-proclaimed queen is that I get all this stuff for free.

My stunning gown is courtesy of Tiffany Designs. I have been a fan of the creator for many of my SL years. Lucy Hope, owner & designer at Tiffany Designs makes exquisite gowns. Once again she has a free gift for everyone – the Mia Christmas Gown! There are 2 versions of the gown – red and red with green accent pieces. Aside from the gown you also get a glamorous pair of earrings, a head bow and a pair of high heeled pumps (in the vendor on the right lower side of the gown vendor). All you have to do is left click on the vendors to grab this gift.

Being Queenly

Every queen must have a crown; really it’s in the rule book! My stunning Selene halo is a free gift from Six Feet Under at the Frozen Frolic. It’s perfectly fitting as a crown so I may continue to reign over my kingdoms. You’ll find shopping and free gifts there.

The free hairstyle sitting regally on my head is courtesy of Doux. The Snowflake hair comes with an extensive deluxe color change hud. It’s my royal hair of the day. All of my social media followers will all rush out to get it.

The Secrets of Second Life

Sometimes Second Life can toss out some downright weird things at you.  I’m sure you all have a list of odd things you’ve seen and experienced inworld that are not necessarily repeatable in a PG-13 kind of environment.  Or really, any environment… If you’re not a resident of SL, it’s hard to describe some of the things that are normal to us denizens of the grid.  Sometimes though, you get to participate in something entirely weird but super fun.  And that’s what I’m about to share today!

I’m Sorry…WHAT are we looking for?

Our friends over at Second Life Syndicate are celebrating their 3rd Anniversary in the most THEM way possible – a hunt for cute little poops in a sewer.  Yeap, you heard me!  When SLS is putting together an event, you can always expect it to be something a little out of the ordinary.  There’s a massive sewer maze set up right now, and if you walk around looking for the little poops, each one contains a completely free gift.  Here’s what I found:
