So sometimes you just want to feel like a Goddess. Like you just came down to the ruins of the ancient world and have to power to make it all beautiful again. I’ve been delving into the world of geneology in my real life. Fascinating stuff, really. Especially for a girl who was adopted and never knew her heritage growing up. I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful spring weekend. I am out here just sipping some wine on the French Riviera where the Bohemian style is all the rage right now. In fact, it is all the rage throughout Europe! Just colors and frills and fun sexy outfits! I think with all the war and pandemic and everything else, the mood of peace and love so exemplified by the Hippies back in the 60’s and since then is on everyone’s mind. Mind? I don’t mind, it’s my preferred style, bohemian gal that I am! So when I saw the Saturday Sale and Belle Epoque, well, I just had to run down and grab it. I want to be in style while I sip my wine like a fashionista!

Much like the macabre, though a little less romantic, grotesques have been part of art and architecture for centuries. It’s a theme I’ve always romanticized myself, that concept of finding beauty in that which would otherwise be called ugly. Now, before I get too melancholy in my musings I’ve got some pretties to share with you, one of which is this face tattoo by Nar Mattaru that reads “Grotesque” under my right eye. Alongside my finds at Nar Mattaru, I picked up some group gifts from rotten, and torment via Harajuku. Keep reading and I’ll give you all the what and how of things.

Nar Mattaru has a handful of 10 linden offers in the same spot as their group gifts. These 10 linden finds do not require a group tag to purchase. I picked up the face tattoo that says “Grotesque” under the right eye, and has an almost cute little fly under the left eye. The tattoo comes in BOM layers, and an Omega applier with fresh, normal, and faded options.
Also at Nar Mattaru is this smudgy black eye makeup. This eye shadow look is called the “Effortless Smoky Eye” it too is just 10 linden. The grunge-rock princess part of my personality just couldn’t pass this one up. This eye-makeup comes in a BOM layer, and an Omega applier.

I am kind of in love with this lip gloss from rotten. It’s their current group gift, and the group is free to join. I love when I come across amazing makeup finds. Makeup is my favorite way to customize my look without changing my skin. This free lippie set by rotten includes 6 color choices, each with 4 style/opacity variations. In the package you’ll get BOM layers only. Technically these lip colors were made to be worn on Genus heads, but I think they look fantastic on my Catwa head.

If you head over to the Harajuku event you can pick up these gorgeous earrings for free from torment. They are waiting at the torment booth at the Harajuku event. You will need to be wearing the torment group tag. The torment group is free to join. Then while wearing your torment group tag, click the “gift” sign at torment’s spot at Harajuku. These lovelies come in a black/gold version (shown) and a silver/gold version.
