Hey FabFree! I’m dreaming of the spring and summer seasons… oh how I miss the nice weather. I set up a Jacuzzi at my log home to experience that summer moment. The Linden homes never change snow in the winter months unless you set up your own so I can just pretend Winter doesn’t exist here…

Higgle!

I’m also showing a bunch of jewelery from Higgle tonight. I’ve posted a closeup so you can see all the intricate details and fine crafting that went into the creation of these beautiful jewlery pieces. Each item only costs 1 Linden each on the Marketplace.

Return to Fabia

Fabia is such a generous designer! I have collected so many of their hairs overtime and I’m just starting to try them all on. This is the May hairstyle and it’s a current group gift. Don’t Let it End

Hey FabFree! I hope you are all keeping well and not having the August blues. I admit I am a bit because I just don’t want to summer to end! I know I talked about Autumn in my last post and although fall weather is my fave all the summer holidays ending and going back to work is definitely not my favourite. Time to hit to beach again as many times as possible and party hard before I have to hit the grind of hard work again!

Free Gifts @ Fantasy Faire

In this post, I am focusing on freebies you can find at Fantasy Faire 2021. I had to hunt hard to find these, as the event is massive- 22 sims in total! I will break down down some of free gifts I found at the Faire below.

• The gorgeous owl mask is a free gift at Spyralle’s booth. Grab this little guy for 0L on the wall. This was a hard one to find, but it is so beautiful and intricate. What an amazing gift!
• This beautiful hairstyle is a free gift at Firelight’s shop at the Faire. This hair is so cool, because it changes colour every minute to a different natural tone! There is also a free men’s hair gift in their booth!
• The amazing shimmer on my body is a generous free gift from Ghoul. Just enter into their store at Valhalla and grab this gift in the middle of their display. This crystal shimmer is a materials applier that works on Legacy and Maitreya bodies only, as well as Lelutka Evolution heads. This applier can be used on Male and Female avatars.

•  Belle Epoque has a set of nails hidden in an object in their store at the Faire for free. Click the statue for the hint, and go hunt for it! The prize is a beautiful set of purple nails that work on Legacy and Maitreya bodies.

The Language of the Birds

Another way to hunt down some great deals at Fantasy Faire is to participate in their “Language of the Birds” hunt quest. Please read Juli’s post here to find out more details about how to play the Fantasy Faire Quest Hunt. By purchasing the quest HUD (it costs 250 L for the basic or 350L for the deluxe*), you are able to participate in the quest. The HUD can be purchased at Fantasy Faire Junction. If you solve the quest, you will receive a reward in the form of a bunch of gifts from various Fantasy Faire designers. The quest gift I am showing today is a set of beautiful floral horns made by EscalateD. These look like little floral branches that a little bird would stop to rest on!

The Quest hunt and the free gifts will be available until May 9th, the closing day of Fantasy Faire.

My look today is packed with additional freebies and offers from various places around the grid, so here are some more offers I am showing off today:

• LSR currently has a 300L credit gift for all LSR group members. The group costs 99L to join. I bought this amazing dress I’ve had my eyes on for a while now. It’s called Yanikha Dress and it comes in 3 textured patterns. I purchased the dress in black and it was completely covered by the credit gift! This last week has been a tough one in real life for me but today I took some time to do some meditating and looked for silver linings in the dark clouds that I felt certain were hanging over my head. I think it helps to actively look for good things when days get rough. This silver lined dress from Alter reminded me of my “silver lining thinking” today and is their free POE hunt gift. Wearing ink lately…

I’ve worn tattoos in two other posts {here} and {here} and when I saw this gorgeous Broken Heart tattoo from Identity as part of the Women Only Hunt (yes my hunting buddy pointed it out) I couldn’t help myself… and who can pass up free? Now I have three free tattoos for this month tucked away in my inventory! This one comes in fresh or faded (faded shown) and you get system layers, appliers for TMP, Omega, Belleza, Wowmeh, and Maitreya.

Sway a little!

If you’re digging my updo you need to hurry, as it may be gone by midnight tonight (Friday). It’s a Fifty Linden Friday special at Exile. I love subscribo gifts… because they just appear in my inventory without any work! Did you notice that the free BYRNE August subscirber gift has appeared in your inventory this month? Never enough

I never have enough hair. I love trying on new styles and I adore hair gifts. I stopped by the Mina main-store (it had been a while!) and was pleased to discover that there was a gift out for Mina VIP group members that I hadn’t yet picked up. Mina generously puts out a monthly group gift for both the guys and the gals, making the 200L join fee for the group well worth it.

This months VIP group gift is the style you see in the pictures above called “Pippa” and you get a hud of ombre colors to go with it. I wasn’t exactly dressed for adventuring… after all I was in my 10L Emerald Couture Dk Olive Bloom dress from the Cart Wash Sale with its asymmetrical hem and floral material…

I knew when I saw the sign on that airplane that someone had spray painted, “Do epic shit” that it was time to step out of my comfort zone and step into adventure… even if I was wearing a dress. So I crossed through the broken down fence to the crash site and wandered in.

Once inside, I explored the wreckage. It was littered with “treasures” and things I wanted to see. There was some graffiti that caught my eye and seemed important to remember: “We all bleed the same colour.” Yeah… isn’t that the truth. So many forget that in their everyday lives as they walk down the street. It’s a good motto to live under the moon by.

It had me fingering my new free texture change Lotus Moon necklace from Moondance Boutique. It was part of a matched set that included earrings too… as well as a bunch of beautiful rings, but I’d left the rings at home. A Blueberry at the Funny Puppet Fair!
