Ok FabFree… this post is about to get emotional. In this post, I will be talking about loss and grief so be prepared for that before reading. Last month, I lost my beloved furbaby in real life. It was heartbreaking for me, as I had an incredibly special and close bond with my cat. It really broke me in half, but I have been working through my grief. Apparently, there have been a lot of people in SL lately who have lost their cats and other pets in recent times. For those of you out there who may be going through this, just know you are not alone. I will never forget him as long as I live in both worlds and I will love him until the day I die.

The incredible creator Dalriada Delwood of MOoH! created a set of “ghost” kitties for those of us who have lost our cats. I thought it was so beautiful that MOoH! came out with these, as it is a lovely little reminder of my beloved little guy who I can carry with me around SL. It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas… yes, maybe for some Xmas starts after Cyber Monday but for me it starts today because technically Black Friday is over. Bring on the Xmas season! Feeling up to spookiness yet? You should because Halloween is knocking at the door. I’m not going to show you a costume today (yet). Instead I’m bringing you news from Telsiope Couture. As I have said in previous posts about this store is that I LOVE it. So let’s get talking about what you can find there.
Sexy Mama
I am feeling so sexy in this body-hugging provocative dress that fits like a sheer glove. It just makes you feel like you’re sending clouds of pheromones out into the world. Ooh-la-la! Yes, it’s sheer but have no fear, strategically placed solid swathes cover your bits. Included in the package is a texture change HUD with 20 options to choose from making the dress versatile. It’s like getting a fat pack without all the extra pieces.
Sizes included are Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink. When you tp into the shop go up the stairs to the third floor. Alessia is currently the gift in the Midnight Madness board – give it a slap. My second look from Telsiope Couture is the Amber Halloween Dress & Boots. It’s a dress that is not strictly for Halloween so you can wear it anytime. The included texture change HUD gives you three options in four colors. Your color choices are purple/lavender, black, red, and green. The texture choices are plain colors, small symbols (this is what I’m wearing) and last, one with large pentacles. You can really do a lot with the HUD. Amber is also sized for Belleza, Maitreya, & SLink. The boots are included in this black color. I got this for $50L. I always feel like I’m getting a nice bargain from Telsiope Couture.
Hair Today & Maybe More Tomorrow?
I have tons of hair but I cant resist buying new styles when they are on sale. I was beyond excited when I saw that No_Match had an offer out for the Happy Weekend Sale. I zoomed to the store and grabbed the No_Confusion red pack for only $60L. It’s really cute and you can change the color of the bow headband. There are many great hair designers around the grid but No_Match has remained my favorite for years.

October is here and it’s time to get our spookiness on. Time to break out those Halloween outfits and have more fun. The madness is just starting so get yourself ready. I’ve got news about a few goodies from Bundles and the Mid-season Mystery Fair & Hunt. When I worked as a venue hostess I would start wearing Halloween costumes on October 1st because I love dressing up. Of course the same was true for other holidays also.

After reading a post about Bundles by Aline here, I realized I’d never been to Bundles. Face Palms & screams ZOMG! Hello, Fab Free! I hope you are having a fantastic weekend. I decided to spend some time today exploring the Whispering Windz sim. If you are looking for a lovely place to visit, I’d highly recommend taking a journey there yourself. It has meandering paths that work their way through a beautiful fall landscape. Before my idyllic afternoon, I picked up a couple of free gifts that I am excited to share with you.

I decided to check out the 18th Round of MIIX Event this morning, and I’m so glad I did. ‘Tis Bat Season
I am a kid at heart and look forward to October 31st every year, so I decided to get my Halloween vibe going a little early. Over at Mister Razzor Body Shop, I joined the group for just 10L and picked up a free ear tattoo as a group gift. It is comprised of a small cauldron of bats – or is it a colony? I am not exactly sure, but I call it adorable! Created exclusively for the Lelutka Evo X mesh head, this gift includes a 100 percent version as well as a lighter 75 percent option. I love how it is playful the design is!

I always look forward to the 60L Happy Weekend Sale, which runs Saturday through Sunday. With a very reasonable price tag of just 60 Linden dollars per item, you can pick up some wonderful additions to your SL wardrobe without breaking the bank. Today, I scored the Jola Dress from Meva. With ruffled short sleeves, a laced bodice, and a flirty hemline, this ebony frock is ideal for early fall, and I have to say, the color is perfect for October. If you toss in a witch hat and broomstick, it could even double for a Halloween costume. The folder includes versions for the standard and petite Maitreya mesh bodies.

Over at [The Forge], I found another Happy Weekend offering for just 60 Linden dollars – a pair of over-the-knee stiletto style boots. They look like they were tailor-made to coordinate with my new dress. I really like the added detail of the golden buckles, which contrast beautifully with the buttery soft leather of the footwear. Fortunately for me, my avatar has no problem maintaining her balance on the slender heels of these curve-hugging boots. I opted for black to coordinate with my dress, but you can also find the Hellen Boots in seventeen other colors (each sold separately).
