Lost in a Daydream

Happy Saturday, Fabulouses!  I’m having a lazy start to my morning.  Lounging on a hammock and  listening to the birds singing is so much more fun than grocery shopping.  The local market in my area has this new service where you send them your list, they select your items, and all you have to do is drive to the store.  They meet you in the parking lot and even help load your groceries into your car.  That sure would free up more time for shopping at The Cart Wash….

The last time Ripley and I walked through the wash, I couldn’t help but admire the Savanna complete outfit at the Finale Couture display.  For just 50L, I came away with this sexy bustier and sleek leather pants, which show off my every curve.  A beaded leather necklace, a pair of earrings, and gold studded heels (for Maitreya and Slink feet) rounded out my look.  The top and trousers both feature coordinating golden accents such as the gleaming zippers and decorative grommets.  The entire outfit has a funky, casual feel and I decided to play up the Boho vibe by wearing a hairstyle with a golden headband.  The package includes sizes for classic avatars as well as fits for mesh bodies.  You can scoop up this budget friendly complete outfit for yourself down at The Cart Wash, but hurry, the event ends November 1st.

A Cynfully Sweet Summer Night

My cute, Ness cropped top is quite time sensitive, so if you are interested in scooping it up, I’d suggest teleporting to the Cynful booth at the Les Fest as soon as possible.  I just discovered that the event ends today.  This location has an adult rating, so in order to pick up the gift, you will have to be able to visit an adult area in SL.  With a realistic texture and slender shoulder straps, this free knotted shirt  will pair beautifully with a long skirt, as I have chosen for my outfit, or a pair of shorts for a more casual look.  I opted for a neutral gray solid hue, but the gift includes a HUD which offers you a choice of solid, print or ombre textures in a variety of tones.

My hair today is another of the many free gifts you can gather at the SL14B Community Celebration.  Available at the Alice Project booth, the Mercedes II hair is a lovely center parted hairstyle.  The package includes a basics HUD with 15 texture options ranging from the white I chose to wear, blonde, red, brown or black to the more exotic aqua, light blue, and pink.  I love this simple, wavy hairdo.  It’s so feminine and soft.
