Sneaking in for a post. Ohhhhh gollygosh, it’s been a crazy rl time for me. Real life job stuff has had me on my toes the last week or so, coming to a head tomorrow (in a good way, hopefully!) So I didn’t forget about y’all! Just scrambling to keep up! You know when you have those waves of time where you know if you can just get done with A, B and C, you can regroup and refocus? I’m trying to get those things done now and hopefully by this weekend, be able to breathe again.
Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine sadly rages on. Many of the designers have been creating wonderful items so that we can show our support for the poor people of Ukraine. I’ve got a couple more to showcase for you today so let’s get on with it.

Hey gang!
Just popping in to show you what I found for Cray and I to show our support of Ukraine (the stories just break my heart).
Really as the Sting song Russians says “There’s no such thing as a winnable war”, which every time there is a warlike conflict, that line pops right into my head. Back when I was a teenager and this song was first released, I never thought that so many years later it would become relevant again. Sting has another song entitled “History will Teach us Nothing“, another line that pops into my head all too often.
It’s all just leaders and their egos. If we could all remember and embrace that we are all the same on the inside, perhaps there would be no more wars. But then I am an idealist, and most leaders are not. It makes me so sad that when the leaders of countries are fighting, the ones who pay the price every single time are the people who are unfortunate just to be living in the country and who are basically innocent in the conflict.
But that’s just how this little idealist sees it. I know it is a lot more complex than that (isn’t it?), but the complexity still does not make it the right thing to do. War has never solved a problem, except to reduce the population and gosh hasn’t the pandemic done enough of that lately?! The moment we are on the brink of returning to normal, someone’s gotta start killing people another way. Sigh.
My mom got me involved in penpalling when I was 11, and my first two penpals were Japanese. Over many many MANY decades I wrote and made friends all over the world (including Russia and Ukraine!) and not a single one was very different from me. The cultures are different, yes, but inside we are all so much the same. Same worries, fears, hopes, dreams… Same wanting to be understood and accepted for who we are.
They say world peace and understanding begins in a small circle of people, like family and friends. Perhaps if we all just put some love and understanding out to someone we know who needs it, or whom we have *not* been peaceful and understanding to in the past, perhaps those little bits of energy can begin to shift the energy on this entire planet and help more people find peace and start to heal.
Just my thoughts, but I came here for freebies/dollarbies so please forgive my long-winded-ness.

And the story goes… I was having my tea with a rather solemn sheep one morning…

It is nearly time to say goodbye to autumn once again. Unlike some of the other girls, I am *not* looking forward to winter (how long until spring???), in as much as I relate to Elsa, the cold *does* bother me, and it is not my friend. Too, the holidays are difficult for me, so I spend nearly every year sort of holding my breath until they finally pass and it’s January and I can breathe a bit better. Meantime, I am helping these little friends get ready for *their* winter, which is rough for them in a different way!
So I spent some time perusing marketplace and found this stunning little dress for you, it’s got a HUD with some gorgeous autumn (and non autumn) colors to choose from. The very best part is, it’s free! It does only fit Maitreya but it is really adorable!
Oh and I took this photo at the lovely Mystic Dreamers Valley Mall. It will be autumn there for another day or so and then I think Juli said winter was due to arrive! Either way its a lovely place for photos or for an afternoon out with friends!

Here I am gang, back again in stark contrast to my previous (solo – not the one where I am fending off a pack of wild redheads) post, I’m back to my old self again and catching up on some chores. Plants watered, check. Blog posts done, check. Rent paid, check. Laundry…. in progress!
Doing the laundry is much more fun when you can bring along some adorable cuteness with you to snuggle and smooch while you wait! My favorite part about laundry is when the dryer stuff comes out nice and toasty… ahhhhhh. Even if it is hot out for some reason, the heat in fresh laundry is so soothing. I wonder why that is. Do you know?
Of course with all my laundry needing to get done, I had to find a new outfit to wear while I washed the rest and so I headed over to the Free Dove, cause I haven’t been in a while, to see what newness they might have. I wasn’t disappointed of course because I found this to die for outfit (I may live in this and be buried in it!). I absolutely love the bohemian pattern on the top with the Indian elephants. Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I know I show you all sorts of styles in my posts my friends, but bohemian (and my whimsical side LURVES Kawaii) is where my soul does a happy dance. I don’t find nearly as much bohemian as I would like nowadays, it feels like the entire grid is obsessed with jumpsuits lately. So when I do find it, get out of the way cause Imma gonna do a big ol happy dance!!!

So a few of us Fab Free sisters got together yesterday for a walk through a hilly forest to check out some of the beautiful fall foliage that is happening up in some higher elevations. Hey gang! For today’s finds, I am taking you inside my humble abode, and also to our new Fab Free Headquarters! So travel around the grid with me if you will! We Fab Free sisters live and breathe freebies and deals so that means we use them in our little corners of the grid, just like y’all do! We try to set a good example by *trying* to live frugally! (not always easy! hee hee)
So, let’s get started, as I have a lot to show you. Above is my kitchen table area, I did this with a kitchen set from Careless (I didn’t even put everything out!) that cost me only 49L. It’s super cute and I added a couple of odds and ends from them too. The poses are great too, really well made stuff!
Below is my living room. My couch and chair are a set, also from Careless, but they are a group gift meaning they are free cause the group is free to join as well! If this color isn’t your thing, you guessed it, she has other colors for 49L! The cute Tulips on my mantle? 10L at Careless. The little trees with lights are from Caro Designe on market and you can get them for 50L.
Below you can see I used the little trees from Caro in more than one place, they are just sooo pretty! The pink Paris themed dresser with fairy lights? That’s one of my creations and you can grab that at Shanti for only 50L!
Here is another market find that I absolutely love, these little lantern lights from What Next. You can grab these on their marketplace store for only 10L! They are stunning, let me tell you! You can of course put them anyplace you like, I strung them along my fence by the pool.
Lastly, I don’t know how many of you have had a chance to pop by and check out the new headquarters yet, but in keeping with the fab free spirit, the house we used is of course free. It’s a free group gift from Greymoon Designs (who has adorable houses! I live in one (and own several! lol!), and the group is only 50L to join. When you join, you can grab a bunch of cute houses on the group gifts wall and here is the one we used (C-Side Cottage):
