I don’t know about you but I wasn’t anticipating oodles of event gifts at this point in time. I’m still clearing out things i don’t need or want from December Holiday Shop & Hop. I’m not complaining mind you. But I’m quite sure I can hear the inventory servers moaning and groaning. Let them groan; a girl always needs cute and stylish clothing and accessories. And Shop & Hop is raging again. Once again loads of gifts and bargains abound.

Being a fan of the New Orleans Saints football team you have to love the team’s colors. You guessed it – black & gold! Hello Fab Free’rs, thanks for stopping by! Today’s post is something fun and playful, at least I think so. Sanarae is celebrating an anniversary, and the shoppers are benefiting. Almost every vendor has a FREE gift to all Sanarae group members. While there are a ton of lovely gifts, the gift from Pixicat happens to be my personal favorite. Additionally I came across the cutest gacha by Katatonik. This adorably creepy pet makes for the perfect little friend to whisper all your secrets to.
It’s no secret I’m excited about the month of October being so near. There’s a meme floating around the Internet that says something about it being Halloween Season rather than Football Season. I definitely agree with that sentiment. The Sanarae gift from Pixicat is this cute little short sleeved bat print top with the orange leather skirt. The top and skirt can be worn separately as well as together. This FREE gift comes in standard mesh sizes, as well as a few body specific sizes. There isn’t anything I don’t love about this cute outfit. It’s perfect for Halloween Season! All you need to do to get this amazing gift is join the Sanarae group. The group is FREE to join.

Now let’s talk about the octopus kitty floating over Pru’s shoulder. This half octopus half kitty follower pet is just the right mix of cute and creepy. This gacha creature by Katatonik is equipped with resize scripts so you can make her just about whatever size you like. Once you’re  happy with her, the touch menu will also allow you to remove the scripts. There are several versions of the Tendril Kitty from Katatonik at Sanarae, and at 50 lindens per play, it was a gacha I just couldn’t pass up. I may even need to go back to Sanarae and collect a few of the others, they are just that cute! lol

I can be Kawaii…I think.

Hello FabFreebers! While I’m not 100% sure I know enough about what the word Kawaii means (I do know it means cute in Japanese, but of course there’s more to it than that), I find myself feeling that way today with my outfit. Heck, I’m not even sure how to pronounce it. Is it pronounced Ka-Why, or Ka-Whyee, like Hawaii? I do know that any time I hear the word, I see fun fashions, with pretty colours and there is usually a bow and or hearts involved somewhere. I think I have it nailed today!

It all started with my dress actually. I was checking out Sugar Button Boutique the other night, and while looking at their free group gifts to make sure I haven’t missed out on anything, I noticed that I had not picked up this cute Baby Doll Bow dress that was a special group gift edition. It is mesh, in all the standard sizes, and I just adore the big pink bow at the waist. It is so pretty and feminine. All you need to do to get this baby, is join the Sugar Button Boutique group, for free, and toss on the tag.

Naturally, I needed shoes. I know, I know, I always need shoes. LOL. I actually heard about this sweet iridescent gold pair from Alaskametro on their Facebook feed. There is a new Marketplace hunt going on, the Sofa Surfer’s hunt, until Feb 29th, and the Brilla heels are Alaskametro’s contribution. All you have to do, is go to their Marketplace store, HERE, and then start searching for the item ad that has the orange ‘buy now’ on it. While hunt prizes can be set at up to L$10, these classic pumps are L$0 for everyone. There are versions for SLink high, which I am wearing, TMP Ouch, Bellezza and Maitreya feet. While they are not hard to find, I won’t include the direct web page link…it is a hunt after all 😛 .

The last free addition to my Kawaii look, is the too-cute for words hair I have on. This fun, pig-tailed and long, Kizzy hair is the latest gift from Truth. If you are already in their subscribo, check your items folder, as you should already have it. If you are not subscribed, or maybe SL ate yours, no fear, just head on down to the Truth store, and you can buy the Kizzy hair for free. It is a full colour huds fatpack, and while you all know I usually go for the dark hair look, I could not resist going with pastels this time around. No matter your colour preference, you are covered.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road

I have another fast post today, FabFree Folks.  Normally I wouldn’t make a post when a Hunt only has a day or two left. However, the Wizard of OZ themed, Holi Hunt is a different sort of thing. This is a super fun little Hunt and I think you’ll enjoy it too. Oh and it’s a 0L Hunt as well!

When you arrive at the Holi Hunt start, you tap the sign and will receive a note card with all the instructions and a little tray… that you wear on your head.  Then take a wander around the Oz themed area and pick up little pots of pigments. You just click the pots and they appear on the tray. When you have six pots of colors  a menu will pop up asking you which shop you want the prize from.  Then just follow the yellow brick road to Munchkin land where the shops are and pick up your prize!

First up is the ‘Holi Dress’, this candy colored retro confection is from Kata0nik. I love the shape of the sundress not to mention it’s in my favorite purple! I topped off my outfit with the ‘Butterfly Hair Bow’ from Half Deer. I always find nifty things from Half Deer but this is just too cute!

Down The Street I’m The Girl Next Door

Hello everyone. I’ve been absent for a couple of days due to feeling a bit on the sickly side but Im starting to feel better so I am back to show more great goodies you can find around the grid.

Today I am going to be showing you some things from The Kawaii Project. These adorable dresses by Katat0nik are the epitome of cute. I about fainted when I saw them in the gacha’s, because for L$75 a pull, its a steal! Whats even better is you have the choice between standard fitmesh for regular avatar bodies and a fitmesh that works beautifully with the SLink Physique body!

There are several different styles to play for in the Gacha, so I couldn’t resist showing you a couple more that I won. Especially as I am completely smitten by them! It also gave me the opportunity to show you a couple more of the colours of the Hair Bows from the group gift by Glow Designs! Their group is L$10 to join and you get a bumper pack of hair bows in the gift!

Another aside is this really sweet skin that is the Hee skin by VCO. This is the rare prize in their gacha filled with Hee Lip tattooes and is L$69 per pull!

Back to The Kawaii Project, if you join the event group you can find two really great gifts. One is a set of really pretty nail varnishes for SLink hands and Belleza hands by Quirk. Below you can see the HUD so you can see the colours available.

The other free group gift for the event is this really fun Couch and rug set that is by Atomic! The little plush toys are from the Exposure gacha at the event! I couldn’t resist showing you the four that I won and there are others to try for too!

Level Up is an event that happens every 3 months and features some of the grid’s absolute BEST designers, each of which create items to fit a specific theme, but here’s the extra awesome part… The event is video game inspired, and each moth highlights a different type of game! My whole outfit, and the racing-themed setup all around me, are both chock full of cheapies!

Dangerous Curves Hunt (Part 2)

Happy Weekend Fabulous ones! Today I have another installment of the Dangerous Curves Hunt coverage. One {Frick}’n cute Witch

Halloween is creeping closer! Do you have your costumes ready? I can never decide what I want to be for Halloween, ’cause I  want to be too many things! hahaha This year Frick may have made my decision a little easier by offering this witchy skin for free at their main location. The skin is called “Fathom Witch” and my guess would be the name has to do with the beautifully done  delicate little scale-like markings in strategic places over the skin. I instantly thought of Elphaba from Wicked, but I can easily see how this skin would be great for a mermaid or a water witch! As you know, I’ve been a bit addicted to the Marketplace lately, and this cute little dress from [Demonic] is just one more reason why. The dress includes the matching stockings and is completely free on the Marketplace! Feeling cute and just a little bit wicked, I was super excited to pick up the Halloween VIP Group Gift from Katat0nik, it’s a little bear shaped oven with a plushie witch and a cupcake inside! How appropriate! hehehe This little witch just wouldn’t be complete without her crown, this is just one of the several versions that Rotten Defiance sent out as one of their most recent Group Gifts. Goldie here! So excited first time to blog for all you fabulous readers. So I was rummaging around through all my groups popping by all the stores that I have groups for and I noticed that MY UGLYDOROTHY is having a 500L skin sale on all skin packs. I just had to nab a skin I’ve been eying for awhile and Oh my gosh! For 500L you get 18 skin options,a shape,and eyebrows! Such a great deal so you need to run on into MY UGLYDOROTHY before April 21st and get some greatly priced adorable skins. With this cute and innocent face with my new skin I just had to do something sweet. So I ran on over to *katat0nik* where she has a lucky board out for group members stocked full of 5 colors of this adorable berry dress and the matching socks. Sadly the group isn’t free it’s 250L to join, but it’s well worth it! You get group gifts well worth the value and if you win a dress from the luckyboard you instantly get back the L value since these dresses are set at a price of 200L per color.

And to accessorize this incredibly sweet dress and skin I threw on a hair that matched the dress so perfectly It’d have to be a crime for me not to wear it. This hair is from  [Elikatira] it’s on sale right for only 75L per color pack or a 50 color fatpack for only 421L! No I’m not pulling your leg it’s seriously that cheap for this adorable rigged mesh hair. Oh no! I almost forgot this adorable eyeshadow I had put on to tie this outfit together. It was only 2L for this rainbow eyeshadow, I literally went crazy when I saw the price of this eyeshadow. It was way worth more then 2L for how perfect and colorful it is. Sorry forgot to tell you that *Tori-Tastic* is the creator of this wonderful eyeshadow, but I think the owner is crazy for the prices of her adorable makeups.
