Picking Some Pretty Posies

Hello there, Fabulous Readers!  I hope you had a fantastic Friday!  I had been without my vehicle in RL due to an airbag replacement gone wrong, so today was filled with errands that had been put off for two days.  It’s never fun to sit in the dealer’s waiting room for several hours at a time.  Thank goodness for a lift home from a friend!  I was so glad to have my freedom back today, and spent most of the day out of the house.  Before the evening completely passes by, I wanted to make sure to pop in to share a Fabulous Find with you.  I hope you enjoy it!

Tracking Down the March Hare

As Ripley and I traveled along the Mad as a March Hare Hunt trail, we came across this gorgeous dress at JLZ Fashion.  With bright, peony-style flowers splashed across a snow white background, this frock will be a perfect outfit in which to celebrate the arrival of spring.   What better place to show it to you than a field of blush-tinted tulips on the romantic Luane’s Magical World sim?  Featuring a pale pink collar and ribbon, a curve-hugging fit, and a hemline that falls to the upper thighs, the Spring Floral Halter Dress will cost you just 1 Linden dollar once you locate hunt icon, which is a purple and black sitting rabbit.  Although it comes only in standard mesh sizes, I was able to adjust the alpha layer on my Maitreya Lara body so it fit just right.  I love the soft, feminine appeal of this dollarbie!  The hunt runs through March 31st, so you have plenty of time to track down some prizes for yourself.

No Dogs Allowed?!

Happy Saturday, Fabulouses!  I don’t know about you, but I sure am happy it’s the weekend.  Since Ripley and I had such great luck at the Country Girl Hunt (you can see my last post {HERE}), we decided to check out The Flowerage Hunt 2. It’s grid-wide, and runs until May 31st, so you have plenty of time if you’d like to do some sleuthing of your own.  You’ll be looking for a flower in a vase, and each hunt gift costs just 1L.  Our first stop was JLZ Fashion, and in no time at all, we discovered this sweetly feminine, strappy mini dress.

Spring Beach

Perfect for the warm summer weather ahead, the Spring Beach frock is light and cheerful, with its all-over floral print. The soft colors and figure-hugging design will flatter any avatar.  I like the added detail of one strap dangling down on my right shoulder, which added a touch of whimsy to the outfit.  Sexy and sleek, this outfit made a welcome addition to my summer wardrobe collection.  A pair of dark sunglasses is also included in the hunt package, but since Ripley and I were strolling through a shady forest on the Peacehaven sim, I opted not to wear them for my photo.

About All the Cats…

As we explored the sim, Ripley and I came upon a clowder of cats gathered around a couple of old fashioned milk cans.  The little critters twined themselves around my legs, purring, and I scooped up one super-friendly white feline.  Upon noticing my canine companion, however, a few of the cats froze, and hissed a warning.  Ripley, always trying to be helpful, knocked over one of the galvanized containers, and milk trickled onto the ground.  The cats happily lapped up the creamy spill, but as soon as the pupster tried to help himself to some of the proceeds, a fierce conflict ensued, ending with yelps and a scratched nose.  Poor Ripley!  So much for trying to be helpful!  As we were taking our leave, two cats glared at Ripley, and pointed out the “No Dogs” sign.  “It’s all right, Pal, you’ll always be MY best friend,” I consoled my sidekick.  He wagged his tail happily, and we journeyed home, where I treated his battle scars.

Hey There Fab Free’rs! After a rather long weekend, I’m back and I of course have awesome goodies to share with you! First, who doesn’t like a good up-do this time of year? It’s been muggy in my part of the world thanks to the unusual amount of rain, and the last thing I want is my hair making me feel hot and sticky. Into the Woods

Hello FabFree Folks, I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend.  One of my favorite things to do over a gorgeous weekend like this one is go camping. So when I saw the Camping Trip Hunt I jumped on it.

This is the ‘Plaid Tie Outfit’ from JLZ Fashions. I love the cute casual look and the sassy but still modest shorts. This is something I’d even wear in RL as well as SL.  The hair style I’m wearing here is ‘Velma’ from RunAway hair.  Usually, Hunt prize hairs are just the one color but [RA] has given us the entire fatpack for ‘Velma’.
