Here’s a Quick One

It must be Quickie Tuesday or something like that. I have another quick post for you I was away from SL for several days. I was in a wee tizzy because, O.M.G., I hadn’t gotten new hair in at least a week! I love being able to wear different styles in all kinds of colors.

New Hair

One of my notices included a notecard detailing the current event items and sales at Sintiklia. Currently there are two styles from last weekend’s Happy Weekend sales set up in vendors at the store. I decided to go with the Aba style. I love the curls and wisps in this one. There are many ways to style Aba, The package comes with left & right unrigged bangs & side bangs, the base hair and bun, 4 sizes of the hair with ponytail, and of course a color change HUD. The sizes are geared towards your head & breasts sizes for a perfect fit. All of that for only $60L! You can’t beat that with a stick. The Happy Weekend sales items are usually out for about a week. That being said if you like this one don’t delay going to grab it. Here’s the ad picture so you can see all of the ways to wear it.

New Dress

If you’ve been reading my posts over the month you may remember that I love Asian styles clothing. I popped over to Pixicat last Friday once I saw the FLF item there. She-bang! I found the Miya dress with the classic styling I adore. You get two dresses for the price of one. There’s the Tiger print and the Dragon print and I had a hard time deciding what print to wear. You also receive a color change hud that will only change the trim. It is still out for sale at the time of this post.

Hello again, FabFree Readers. As the title of my missive here indicates, it is indeed, a happy weekend. As many of you know, one long running Grid wide sale is the 60L Happy Weekend Sale. And as such, there are several very nice offerings for the gentlemen of Second Life.

One of the nicest deals is from Chuck Size’s Calvin Turtleneck. Extremely well designed and built it is quickly becoming one of my favorite pieces. There are 5 colors in the 60L sale and even more in the regularly priced fatpack. One other note, the Calvin comes in two versions of each size. One with a higher waist one with a lower for various styles of trousers.

The 60L Happy Weekend Sale, of course, runs through the weekend however many venders leave the sale up for a few days. But don’t count on it, sales can be fleeting things so don’t let this one slip away.

New Beginnings

Hey FabFree! I am slowly starting to crawl out from under my dark rock. After a long few months of depression, I’m starting to feel a bit better. I did end 2022 on a great note, however, as I got married and that started my new year out on the right foot. Let’s hope 2023 is better!

There are so many sales out right now that I am sales-shopping fatigued! I have news of yet more sales for you today! Sintiklia has this awesome hairstyle out for their Happy Weekend sale, so I had to grab it. It includes a style hud and colour hud in each colour pack for 60L, and remember that 9 extra L’s are refunded when you join Sintiklia‘s free group. While I was there, I saw that they have 60% off the whole store (except for May-July 2022 releases)! Their “Summer Sale” starts today and it ends on July 29th.

Snacking

The other cute items in my post today from FabFree at Fifteen are making me hungry… I’ve added in lots of food-themed items this time!

Happy Saturday! I’ve found loads of great things at the weekend sales that I want to share with you. As you know, these are often time sensitive, so let’s get right to it!

Friday

My skin is by Glam Affair, and you can still get it right now for the special Fifty Linden Friday price of 50L. We’re talking an enormous pack of BOM skin tones, each with and without eyebrows, and even including some pretty makeup options. Glam Affair skins are always lovely but this one I’ve fallen extra head over heels for. Sigh.

And then there’s Elikatira. Did you know that they sell clothes, too, and not just hair? I thought it was just hair. Or maybe the clothing is new? I don’t know. I have had a long affinity for Elikapeka Tiramisu’s work. It’s always just been so lovely, no matter the brand. Do you remember ETD? I might be showing my age here but ETD was the best. I remember when it closed and I bought up as much as I could at the closing sale. After that was [e] I think, and it’s just as fantastic in the current Elikatira incarnation. My pretty skin is the latest free group gift at MILA. It includes a Lelutka EvoX BOM skin in 2 tones, one light and one dark. The package includes matching ears skins and an eyebrow shape is also included. This is a no-brow skin, so I just added some brows using the Lelutka EvoX hud. The skin for the body is included, so no purchase is necessary to achieve this full look. It also includes a shape made for Lelutka Kaya and Legacy as well, but I am not currently wearing it. It is quite an amazing freebie if I do say so myself!

Take Me Away

I finally made it to Shop and Hop this weekend! I say finally but really it just started on the 16th and there’s still lots of time before it closes on July 5th. I think I’ve made it through 6 of the 20 regions (whose idea was TWENTY regions) and just whoa. This shopping and hopping takes stamina, y’all.

I Let My Guard Down

My sale shopping over the weekend was… excessive. It’s pretty much summer for me all year round in SL, and this time of year everyone else turns to summer too. It’s a rough time for my wallet! At least it was all on sale, right? My overindulgence is not the point here though. What is, you ask? My fabulous dress, that’s what!

I stopped by Tiffany Designs and was immediately greeted upon landing by a new free subscribo gift! But that’s not what I’m wearing today. Then I walked inside and followed the sign to “group gifts” (who wouldn’t?). There are two groups with separate free gifts, one is paid and the other is free to join. But that’s still not what I’m wearing today. Because then, dear reader, I wandered upstairs. Even MORE free gifts! This time in the way of additional free gifts for both the free and paid store groups, free lucky boards (again, some for each group), and free gifts for the various shopping groups that you see around the grid. Yeah, I changed my mind on what to wear a few times. Tiffany Designs, to me, means gorgeous gowns but there’s really so much more. Happy weekend, Fab to the Free! We made it! I don’t know about you, but I’m going to celebrate with some weekend sale shopping. I’ve already picked up a couple of things and I’m about to head out and see what else is out there.
