The Warmth of Love

My grandmother had a deep, pure love for daisies and it grew on me as I sprouted. The daisy is something you can find anywhere in the right seasons, and I could roll around in fields of them remembering her loving embrace as she laughed at something silly I just did as a child. She was one of the warmest, thoughtful, honest, blunt women I had the honor of knowing. The smell of her perfume (Chanel no5) would linger on you long after her visit ended, her laugh still makes me smile even in my saddest moments.

And if I could lay in a field of love for one hour with her I would talk to her about everything and anything until she magically poofed back to heaven to be with her husband. So this is why I named it Field of Love, for her, for her memory, for her love of daisies, and my love for her.

Demons Within

Fighting the Demons Within

Have you ever felt that the battle of fighting for control over your “Inner Demon” was slowly slipping away? I don’t really walk around pretending I’m an angel, but it is really fun to dress lie one once and awhile. 😉 I do however make sure that I let my Inner Demon out once and a while too. If I don’t, she gets very upset and tends to shred my couch throw pillows. Which is really fun for my inner cat which plays with the feathers in the air like bubbles.
We all have moments where we need to detach from “Adulthood” and enjoy the simple things in life like when we were kids. So today you totally have permission no not “adult” today. Enjoy something fun and smile because YOU made your own day better!

Pool Girl

The plus side to being alone on vacation is you get to be all alone in the pool. Gives you some time to reflect on the things in life that you cannot when you are busy non-stop. I realized today that I needed to take more time for me and explore who I am as an adult. So why not head out to a cute kawaii event to discover myself?!

I decided to take a trip to the Astralia x Hello Kitty Theme Park and enjoy some fun in the sun. I played a few games, got a few prizes, and decided to relax in the lazy river. While I was there I grabbed some FREE souvenirs from Astralia, the cute Mermaid Cup is not only holdable but also can be used as decor which is perfect for me as I love setting little gifts around to remind me of good times!

It is a nice warm welcome into my home and the fact that Paper.Crowns joined in The Stay At Home Club & they are giving out FREE Catplants for everyone to enjoy is sweet.
