The Forgotten Morrigan

Ghosts, goblins, mythical monsters, and the souls of the deceased are all said to come through to this plane of existence as the so called Veil thins. This group gift pose by IDK Poses inspired me to imagine other such entities that might cross over into our world during this mythically magical time. I also picked up one of several inexpensive finds on the ChicModa Spooktacular Hunt to help me bring this look to life. Keep reading for all the details about. Hello there Fab Free’rs. Thanks for being here. October is happening way too quickly for my liking. I’ve been having too much fun with all that Second Life has to offer this time of year. For today’s look I picked up a SL Frees & Offers group gift by Lovel, a group gift at Paniq, and a Marketplace dollarbie by POUT!. I felt like a cute quirky modern witch in this look I was able to put together with my finds. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Lovel

Lovel has this cozy cropped hoodie for free with the SL Frees & Offers (SLF&O) group tag. The SLF&O group is free to join. I really like some of the details of this soft blue sweatshirt such as the lacing going up the sleeves. This top comes in the single baby blue color shown, and a version with the hood down instead of up like shown.

Paniq

The bright blue crystal and accompanying bento pose are a free group gift at Paniq. Perfect for October, the “Samhain Ritual” pose includes the crystal and a pose ball. The Paniq group has a join fee of 25 linden, and there are other group gifts also available.

POUT!

Finally, my eye makeup and lipstick are an oldie but definitely a goodie by POUT! that you can pick up for 1 linden on the Marketplace. This dollarbie makeup applier works with Catwa heads only. I think it’s a perfectly bewitching makeup look!

The Day After Easter

Let’s be honest, for a lot of us, this is the reality of the day after Easter. I’ll have to make room in my refrigerator for this giant chocolate bunny because it will take me at least a month to eat it. Welcome back to the blog Fab Free’rs, as always I’m happy you’re here. I don’t know about you, but I needed a little giggle, and some chocolate to go along with my freebie fix today.

The Scent Takes Me Back

A big part of nostalgia for me occurs with certain smells. The scent of a specific incense, or a certain soap, even flowers can trigger memories. I love that. Generally the memories are always pleasant ones. My nostalgic smells aside, I do have some fabulous group gifts to share with you, so let’s get to it.

The Dress

This cute blue jean dress does have a bit of nostalgia for me in that it reminds me of that time in the early ’90s when Guess jeans were all the rage, and denim everything was in style. It’s one of many free group gifts at Julia’s Scandal. I paired the dress with a low cut applier tank top for a bit of added modesty. This dress showed a bit more of my girls than I wanted. The Earrings

I know you can not see beaded the earrings I have on super well in this photo. My apologies for that, they seem to blend in with the background. If this is your first time fishing, I suggest getting a “casual” fishing rod. You can purchase a casual rod at the 7Seas fishing kiosk near the Sn@tch entrance. There are other rod options, but I only use a casual rod. The casual rod will cost you a one time purchase price of 100 linden. Once you have your rod you can use it forever to fish at any participating 7Seas Fishing area. Now you’re ready to go fish for this outfit!

The Valkyrie

 

Hello hello Fab Free’rs! I had so much fun with this look, and it’s almost entirely gachas and group gifts. Sometimes my favorite part of Second Life really is just playing dress-up. I think Pru looks like a fearsome angelic warrior or a Valkyrie from Norse mythology. For details about each of the freebies and cheapies that make up this look just keep reading!

The Wings – These steampunk inspired wings by Rezology can be found on the Marketplace for just 1 linden. They are modifiable so they can be resized, recolored, and even moved around so the gears and such show on the outside of the wings rather than the inside.

The Tattoo – This group gift tattoo by This is Wrong is unisex. It is a fully body tattoo of intricate geometric lines. It reminds me a lot of art deco style line work.
