Happy Birthday, Second Life!

Oh my giddy aunt, FabFree.  I am pretty much exhausted after my foray to SL18B, which opens to the public today!  Last time I was at this event (last year) I remember being in awe at the size of it.  Well, I almost fell over when I saw that the event has grown even further, with 16 regions to explore, and over 300 gifts to pick up (I KNOW!).  I needed to head off somewhere quiet after all that collecting and unboxing… but boy oh boy was it worth it!

As you know, SL18B is a celebration of all things Second Life.  This little magical virtual world we all inhabit is a haven of things we get to do that we may not be able to in RL, and for that I’ll always be grateful.  The shopping section of SL18B is MASSIVE, so you may want to do it in stages.  I was the crazy person who did it all at once, and here are all my favourite things that I picked up – they’re all free, and there is no group join required to get the goodies.  You’ll find that the links below will tp you directly to the stalls where I picked up the gifts.

Wicca’s Enchantment

The theme for the Enchantment Hunt happening now through December 2nd is “Snow Queen.” I’m not sure that is portrayed with this look but I definitely found myself in some kind of winter fantasy daydream. This pale blue outfit, minus the jacket and boots, is the Enchantment Hunt prize at Wicca’s Originals. The hunt prize is completely free, all you need to do is find the little snowflake. The outfit comes in the pale blue color shown with shorts, top, and garters all separate. Each piece also comes in the option to have the metal bits in silver or gold, and is sized for Maitreya Lara only.
